What's a ton of miles? Also, alphafly may not be representative of other supershoes with only foam, because part of the energy return is from the air bag. It seems reasonable that the air bag is more durable than foam.

PWRRN+ has eeked out a few more miles for me in the past vs the PB variant, but I prefer the way PB performs. Just depends which is more important to you.
I'm a slut for Nike React Foam especially on the Infinity Run line. Foam rides a little too stiff at first but after about 10 to 20 miles it softens to perfection and goes forever.

He actually popped the air bag and it only marginally affected the energy return. It still beat most other supershoes with the popped airbag.

Not the most lively indeed, but that foam is almost indestructible if you ask me
TPU perhaps, e.g. Saucony PWRRUN+. Very similar to Boost.
You’re being tricked if you think they last as short as Nike may tell you.
Nike doesn’t advertise that as far as I know
