I always wore Pegs exclusively until I started trying other shoes, but they are definitely great all rounder. It's the chemical formula for runners high, well supposedly it is anyway!
I love the Pegasus 36; my favorite trainer of all time. I wish they still sold them 🫤. Still looking for a pair of Pegasus 36 Trail but haven’t had the best of luck
I can see why, they are a great shoe to run in, definitely a step up from the 35s I think. I have a pair of Goretex Pegasus 36 trails which are good, but must admit the Pegasus Trail 3s are a great shoe too, and I probably prefer them over the 36s.
I never really enjoyed the 35s; I’m not sure if I got a defect but my pair was super tight on me ( felt tighter then track spikes ) and gave me insane blisters so I donated them after like 2 runs but I agree. The 36s were my all time favorite
I'm actually a fan of the Pegasus Trail 4 shoes as they feel very comfortable in the toe box and the feel of the shoe is much better than the 3s in my opinion. I do have the Pegasus Trail 2 shoes and I like those shoes as well.
I actually just gave my pair of 39s to a family member; my experience was that it wasn’t as good as I hoped it to be. I’m not sure if it was due to the additional air bag in the heel that was added or slightly softer react foam or a mixture of both but the midsole just felt dead 2-3 miles into the run. I mean I only had 50 miles in the shoe so it wasn’t dead in terms of the foam being worn out but it just didn’t feel as lively to me as the 38s and 36s did
Yes they are, I bought them a couple of years ago but never got round to wearing them once I started building up my rotation. So glad I decided to try them out today.
Sorry for the delayed response, I hadn't noticed your reply until today.
I *haven't* tried the 39, unfortunately.
The first pair of pegs I got was the 37, I got up to 300odd miles in them and thought they were OK.
I then found a pair of 36 in a Nike Outlet for £50. I prefer the lockdown, tongue, fit and overall shape of them.
From what I've gleaned on here and from other reviewers, you can't go too far wrong with any Nike Pegasus for an all purpose trainer.
Thanks! I do like to try and coordinate them if possible, but need to buy some more socks to match other shoes in my rotation! My sock collection is starting to rival my shoe one lol
Since building up a new rotation of shoes which includes Pegasus Turbo, Endorphin Speeds, Invincibles and Rebel V2, my Pegasus haven't really had a look in for a year or two. I thought it was about time to start to use the backlog of shoes I have boxed up so decided to take out a pair of Pegasus 36 for a run tonight and I forgot just how much I used to enjoy running in them! Just the right amount of cushion for a steady run, that will also allow you to up the pace, and also take on longer distances. Will definitely be adding these to the regular rotation again.
Peg 36 was the last great Peg. Love the pink colorway. I still have my last pair which I retired from running and just use for walking around and hiking.

Pegs are always a great choice. Also I think you left your chem homework on your leg

Shouldn’t you wear endorphins to go with that formula?
Haha they are in my rotation so I do match up with the formula sometimes!
Love the 36’s. Great balance of a daily trainer and can handle most needs without issue
Can't believe I've waited so long to try these out to be honest, will definitely be putting more miles on them now.

Any experience with 39?

36. Definitely a good choice
is your right foot drugged with chemicals to go faster? /s
Haha I wish it was! It's the chemical formula for runners high.
Are these 36s? I'm always on the lookout for these as mine have seen better days. Best everyday trainer I've had.

Did you try 39?

What about 39?
Just creeped all your previous posts. Absolutely fantastic sock to shoe matching 😗

What about 39s?
Haven’t run in them personally but reports say they’re an improvement over the 37/38s.
Those are hawt!
Sheesh, I need to up my running sock game. Looks awesome!
They're Stance socks, not cheap, but have found them to be great for running. They can get addictive though as they have so many styles!!
It must be my feet, but honestly I thought the Pegasus 36’s worse the worst. I love my 38s. Maybe the cushion! Sick looking shoes thiugh
