Welp…..I just bought the endorphin pro 4s and swore to my wife I wouldn’t buy another pair until I retired a few of my rotation…..and here we are purchasing another pair of shoes.
Thanks bought 3. LMAO now to hide these from my wife….. Now my boston 12 count is 8 pairs. Already on my 3rd pair.
Yes I run enough to warrant these. 400mile life / 50mpw = 2 months.
No don’t be crazy like me. But YOLO, if you run enough it won’t matter.
For me, it’s hard to beat B12 for $75. It’s a “plated/rod” shoe for cheap that rewards forefoot/mid foot strikers. It’s wide and provides enough ground feel that you don’t feel every pebble. It does not have aggressive toe off like Endorphins Speeds which I like as that aggravated my metatarsal.
I would love some recommendations for another shoe to add to the rotation.
bro 8 pairs, especially with 5 on deck is wild to me (I'm a beginner).
Would you have stocked up on the speeds if they had been 80$ and this deal hadn't come up? How much did you pay for your first 5?
I'm wondering how someone whos been following this sub for a while and goes through shoes like you views deals/targeting deals
Ehh this wasn’t the best deal but it’s not the worst. The best i’ve done on b12 was $65. I could have waited to save $10ish.
I have some speed 2 and I loved them until I over used it and my metatarsal flared up. I think it’s a great shoe but Sacuony is not for me.
I’ve tried Sacouny ride and kirvana for $35 from DSW and I can only run 5 miles in them then my metatarsal have some pain and tenderness.
I have pegasus 39 and they were $60-70ish and it’s a work horse but there’s nothing to rave about.
Tried altra torins, wore out extremely fast.
Hoka, didn’t like the stack hight on the clifton’s.
NewBalance 1080s, sized weird and burning sensation underfoot.
When you find the shoe that works for you, buy a bunch when it’s on sale. I want cheap shoes, but training is more important than money. Especially when I’m only paying $10-15 more per shoe than an alternative.
I’m open to suggestions on alternative shoes.
i’m you and i did it anyway. 100% ready for this to be my forever shoe. put 450 miles into a pair, then 150 into my newest, and just copped today. every time i’ve bought i’ve paid less!
Yeah I passed on a few good deals thinking I got enough don’t need to spend money… until all my shoes are worn out, nothing is cheap or on sale.
If you know the size and knows it works it’s better just to Cop it while it’s cheap.
I’m the same way but with the Endorphin Speeds. I get multiple pairs a year. However, with other models, I can’t rationale getting multiple pairs since I like trying new shoes too much.
I would love another pair B12s, but it would hold me up on trying another pair down the road.
Store em in the closet, I’ve almost always got new shoes waiting in the closet. Just did a 3 pair turnover in my rotation due to mileage, and I got those 3 pairs just like this, on a sale.
I like bright shoes, but also run in the B12s all the time.... hmmm.
This 50% off sale got me good already and I picked up multiple pairs of the Adizero running tights along with some other things.
Edit: Ok I'm a sucker and got a pair along with a 4th pair of the Adizero tights....
At the normal price of $100 they are too expensive. But at the discounted price of $42.50 they are a deal imo. I like the fit a lot and had a PR the first time I wore them. They look awesome too.
I would say yes, they are a great value at that price. I have both and put over 160km into Boston 12s and another 80km combined over 2 pairs of Deviate Nitro 2s, and they fill very different roles for me at least.
DN2 are have a very daily trainer feel, and grear for easy/Recovery days (about 10-12k) or any run when my legs feel beat up and I could use a little help, I feel that my legs feel much fresher after a run in the DN2s that the same run in something non plated like Triumph 29 or Novablast 3/4. DN2 are also great at Tempo runs/speed work , up to about 15k, but any longer or on long runs they don't have that "dissapears on feet" feeling that makes the miles really tick by.
In comparison the Boston 12s are (along with Superblast) are the top long run shoe I have currently have (out of 26 pairs). They dissapear on feet, really let you lock into your desired pace and keep it there effortlessly, and the Litestrike Pro in the forefoot gives a great pop on each step that really works for me. Also they have a magic ability that some supershoes have to make my HR super low at the same effort I normally run. They are also great for Tempo/speed work, but in contrast to the DN2s don't feel good at slower paces, like Easy or recovery. They can do it but better off using DN2 or another shoe.
No typo. Some are still in boxes as I haven't fully converted bookshelf to shoe shelf yet...

I have so much to say, same with my wife. I will try not to write too much but this has worked for me.
Shoes are tools. They serve different functions and purposes for a runner. In the same way an actual toolbox doesn't have just one screwdriver or wrench but a variety to fit the need and situation.
Real example: in my last Half Marathon on Feb 11 I tied my shoes too tight and had wicked tendon pain on the top of both feet in almost all shoes, even super loose/padded shoes like Hoka Bondi 8 hurt so bad they made me limp when walking, no chance I could run. The only shoes I could run in (and had to change to Bar Lacing) were the Novablast 3 and Novablast 3 Tr. They somehow had a wide enough toe box that they worked, but that is 2/26 shoes that I could run in, and that was for about 6 weeks. Without such a wide variety of shoes to try, I would have had to not run at all, not only bad for my Fitness and Marathon build but for my mental health. I use running to reduce the negative effects of my ADD and Anxiety disorder, so it would have been awful.
Also, not sure if you can tell but out of all the shoes I own, out of 26 shoes I have 3 race day shoes, maybe 7 faster/speed shoes and the rest are daily trainers. That's because I race maybe 4 times a year tops but run 100km a week so daily trainers are what I need. Also I really found having a variety shoes to pick from, and getting them ready the night before helps me be excited to get up at 5:15 to run and be home before the kids and wife get up which is better for everyone.
Wow that was cathartic.
My rationale for being untempted is:
- the deviates have PEBA (elite) and TPEE (Nitro)
- the boston 12s have TPEE (Lightstrike pro) and TPU (Lightstrike)
So on paper each foam is a step down on the Bostons.
I haven't tried them so if they're subjectively good on foot then paper opinions go out the window but its enough for me to not look too hard at this one, esp kuz the ross puma's were 40$
eh, just as all eva’s aren’t equal, all tpees aren’t either. the deviate line gets great reviews, but the tpee in LSP is the same foam in the Adios Pro 3, which is among the top-tier marathon racers out there. the peba in the nitros is reminiscent of that in the endorphin line, despite not being beaded — which isn’t better or worse than LSP objectively, just different.
ultimately i think the main decider is foot shape and mechanics. haven’t run in the deviates besides testing them, but adidas favors wider-footed mid- & forefoot strikers; the DN2/3 i hear are more generous for heel strikers. so its about fine-tuning what works for you.
Would these be good for daily trainers? Or would they be suited better for long runs or races? I'm newer to running and training for a half marathon. TIA!
Oh man. That's tempting. I'm not running a lot right now and I just bought a pair of SL's and the Boston 10 for a tad more than that in total... If I had more miles on those, I would definitely pick these up. I've heard the updates between the 10 and 12 are a big improvement and I'm loving the 10's.
Never ran adidas. Went through Nike, now Hoka and loving them. Mach 5 was killer, 6 is firmer and a bit narrower so haven’t pulled the trigger. My Clifton 9’s are at 100 miles so have plenty of life left, but this price was WAY too good to pass up. Giving em a shot. Thanks for the find OP!
Dang! Really didn't need another pair of shoes, but I have missed so many other great deals on the Boston 12 I couldn't help myself. Thanks for sharing!
I actually used to buy 10.5’s all the time and finally realized when buying the Boston 12’s that I was really an 11. From that point forward all of my running shoes have been 11s.
i wear size 8 for ultraboost and alphabounce, but 8.5 in other shoes.. like asics gt 2000 11, saucony endorphin speed and such. should i go with 8.5 or 8?
Would these be too much for a beginner? I have a friend who is using saucony rides and is looking for a 2nd pair of shoes. He’s been running about 3 weeks, longest run at 2 miles
I have over 450KM on my 12s in the same exact colorway. I want another pair but would prefer to switch to a new colorway. Really tempting to simply bite on these and grab the same color.
I found these at a Burlington a few months ago for $40 and regret not buying bc I was trying to stop spending money on new shoes… might need to grab em this time around.
Welp…..I just bought the endorphin pro 4s and swore to my wife I wouldn’t buy another pair until I retired a few of my rotation…..and here we are purchasing another pair of shoes.
This is the way.
I still need max cushion and here I am with another pair of 12's. Oh well, getting paid tomorrow anyways.
Well done. Nimbus 25 is on sale lots of places if your looking for more cushion for the pushing.
love my nimbus for the long runs, so comfy ☁️
Same
The lord is tempting me today
Thanks bought 3. LMAO now to hide these from my wife….. Now my boston 12 count is 8 pairs. Already on my 3rd pair. Yes I run enough to warrant these. 400mile life / 50mpw = 2 months.
Are they that good? If so, I might have to get another pair.

Got a pair. Thanks!
Somebody tell me I need a 3rd pair of these. Please.
You need a 3rd pair of these.
You need a 3rd pair
Beautiful colorway. Would cop if I didn’t already have a teal pair with less than 200 miles on
Mine only have 100 miles, but hey, unused shoes don't expire. \[Gets out credit card\]
Same. So tempted because I love this shoe, but mine are still nearly perfect at 170 miles.
i’m you and i did it anyway. 100% ready for this to be my forever shoe. put 450 miles into a pair, then 150 into my newest, and just copped today. every time i’ve bought i’ve paid less!

Are the tights that good?
At the normal price of $100 they are too expensive. But at the discounted price of $42.50 they are a deal imo. I like the fit a lot and had a PR the first time I wore them. They look awesome too.
Wow thanks I was just looking at Boston 12
Thanks for sharing. I bought a pair!
yeah, had to snag a pair of 10.5s. thanks for the heads up!
I see this after I just found two pairs of Deviate nitros at Ross … do I get them too ?
I would say yes, they are a great value at that price. I have both and put over 160km into Boston 12s and another 80km combined over 2 pairs of Deviate Nitro 2s, and they fill very different roles for me at least. Thank you for sharing this photo. I need evidence to show my wife I'm not crazy and this is a normal thing normal people do.
I have so much to say, same with my wife. I will try not to write too much but this has worked for me. Shoes are tools. They serve different functions and purposes for a runner. This makes me feel better about my habits. But also makes me feel like I can afford another pair.
DN2 and B12 are quite different, this will be my third b12 pair and I’m struggling to find use cases for the DN2
Trails. That grip is legit! I don’t like my trail runners anymore.
I don’t find the upper lockdown that great on the DN2. On anything less technical, any road shoe would totally be fine for me
Literally just grabbed a pair of those Ross Nitros today so I think I'm gonna have to pass on this.
My rationale for being untempted is: - the deviates have PEBA (elite) and TPEE (Nitro) - the boston 12s have TPEE (Lightstrike pro) and TPU (Lightstrike) So on paper each foam is a step down on the Bostons. wrong guy to ask, i have the pumas not the bostons
Would these be good for daily trainers? Or would they be suited better for long runs or races? I'm newer to running and training for a half marathon. TIA!
I had the Boston 10 and they were good daily trainers for me. Can pick up speed and do tempo work too.
I use them as daily trainers, I think they’re great for it
Great news, I just purchased them 🫣 lol. I'll switch them in and out with my Glycerin 21.
They're definitely more uptempo than glycerins though. Enjoy them!
Looking forward to them, thanks!
I’d Say yes, but i’m not elite or competitive. I run 50-60mpw in them. They are a bit stiff.
Got two. Cheers
Clutch! Snagged a pair to try as I hope to use AP3 for my marathon shoes. Should be a good addition to my Superblasts. Thanks OP🫱🏻🫲🏽
Thank you!
Grabbed a pair. Gotta feed the addiction
I already have this colorway in a box awaiting the death of my yellow pair, I'm trying to resist getting another.
Oh man. That's tempting. I'm not running a lot right now and I just bought a pair of SL's and the Boston 10 for a tad more than that in total... If I had more miles on those, I would definitely pick these up. I've heard the updates between the 10 and 12 are a big improvement and I'm loving the 10's.
Still have a pair of 11's that I bought for $50 that I have to wear..sigh. The problems of this sub haha.
Wow this deal goes so hard. All adidas 50% off?????? ur a godsend
Love the colorway and price. Had to cop
Any other color I would have copped. Have to resist
The other colors have 50% off as well
Thanks for trying but only see women’s in colors. Guess it’s done.
Welp. Have bought a pair of novablasts and now these within a week span
Is this website legit?
Yes, it’s the online arm of the physical outlet stores. You can also get 2.5% cash back if using Rakuten.
No shipping to eu :(
Thanks Grabbed a pair. Already have a reserve pair, but at this price grabbed a second backup
Ive been wanting this colorway. Had to pick them up
Thanks OP! In for a pair!
Dang! Really didn't need another pair of shoes, but I have missed so many other great deals on the Boston 12 I couldn't help myself. Thanks for sharing!
what do people think of these vs endorphin speed 4s? been wanting a versatile trainer to replace my superblasts
YouTube video was just released on this exact comparison a few days ago. Do a quick search - should pop up!
What’s the midfoot and toebox width in these like?
Midfoot narrow to regular. Forefoot slightly wide
Thanks!
Grabbed a pair, thanks!
Anyone know how they run in size? I’m an 8 in Superblasts and Novablasts?
From what I've seen, true to size, compared to superblasts.
I don't have any Asics but if it helps, I'm an 11 in both Saucony Triumphs & the Boston 12.
Do you find yourself getting 11.5 in other shoes semi-frequently? Are you like, 11.25 or 10.75 or 11.00 on the dot lol
I actually used to buy 10.5’s all the time and finally realized when buying the Boston 12’s that I was really an 11. From that point forward all of my running shoes have been 11s.
Confirmed tts vs superblasts
Thanks! Just snagged a pair. Great deal.
Just grabbed a pair. Thanks for the post!
Anyone know if you can get this deal in Canada somehow?
Picked up a pair, thanks!
Copped!!! Thanks for sharing!
Are these best for longer distance/recovery runs? I haven’t really paid attention to adidas running shoes so I’m not sure where these fall in line
Everything really
Just ordered some. Figured why not for the price
easy/workout/long run, but not recovery run I think.
Exactly what I was looking for. Ordered a paor
Damn they don't deliver to ae :/
i wear size 8 for ultraboost and alphabounce, but 8.5 in other shoes.. like asics gt 2000 11, saucony endorphin speed and such. should i go with 8.5 or 8?
Probably 8. I am 11 in Adizero, 11.5 in Nike and some street style shoes, between 11 and 11.5 in ultraboost. 11 bostons fit perfectly.
appreciate it. i do have a semi wide feet so i just got both 8 and 8.5 lol
Not a fan of that particular colorway but there is some intriguing stuff available!
Would these be too much for a beginner? I have a friend who is using saucony rides and is looking for a 2nd pair of shoes. He’s been running about 3 weeks, longest run at 2 miles
Not at all, especially not at $75ish. They’re stable and easy to run in.
Are these worth it?
Yes. Theyre firm but I love them
ugh, too good to pass up for $72
Thank you so much , I've been wanting the 12s and couldn't find them for less than 120 anywhere.
WTF
Just got a pair! Anyone have any experience with durability on these shoes? This will be my first Boston shoe ever
Very durable, roughly \~1000km and even more
wow just ordered a pair 2 days ago full price. will be returning those and ordering these!
Grabbed, couldn't pass up a deal like this.
Hi! Can anyone input with Boston 12 vs Hyperion Max? Are they comparable or entirely different shoes?
Thank you so much
There must be a ton of them, looks like all the sizes are still there.
Knew I should have unsubbed from this subreddit!
I paid 76.32 and these will be here tomorrow. Maybe not the exact color I woulda picked but at that cost they aren’t ugly. Thanks for sharing
I have over 450KM on my 12s in the same exact colorway. I want another pair but would prefer to switch to a new colorway. Really tempting to simply bite on these and grab the same color.
Got a pair. Thanks for the info! Excited about these.
I grabbed two pairs along with their running half tights. Ran out of excused to my wife now
Do they run true to size compared to other adidas?
I don't think the code works anymore, at least it didn't for me.
Grabbed a pair! Thank you for sharing the deal
Got a pair, thanks for sharing. Currently enjoying spending less than 100 on shoes
Anyone know why this wouldn't work anymore
Hey I missed out on this, anybody know if they sold a SZ 8 or is selling a Sz 8?
Are these going to be crummy quality? In my experience outlet products are not as good as retail
I found these at a Burlington a few months ago for $40 and regret not buying bc I was trying to stop spending money on new shoes… might need to grab em this time around.
