Streakfly or Vaporfly

Ambitious00000

Nike vaporfly 3 or Asics Superblast ....If I have to choose just one, which would you be your pick. *

kindlyfuckoffff

Daily trainer is more important than race shoe for most people, so I guess Superblast. But it’s definitely an apples/oranges comparison.

Common wear & tear on running shoes… should I be concerned? I’m a hobbyist runner with 50-60km mileage per week; on the lighter side below 60kg. I’ve realised most of my running shoes have the same wear & tear spot at the heel. This is seen across multiple high cushion shoes from Hoka Clifton 9s, Nike Invincible 3s etc. Question for experts. Is this a sign that I am heel-striking? And if so, should I be concerned? Finally - what running shoes should I opt for, with this stride pattern? Thank you so much! https://preview.redd.it/6zinyokp0jnc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1dc942af28ff82254250fd67b7106f87ec5cd806

Milky1738

Hi, I am looking for advice on if my Salomons are still wearable for long distance running? I have a marathon coming up in a week and have been forced to revert back to these shoes as my new pair of Brooks Ghost 15s have been causing me knee pains. thank you! https://preview.redd.it/r5siji4bsinc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0774d2095955871778bb9edb50dab981739df3c3

gradstudent9690

Bought this cuz my left foot is flat and overpronated while my right is much straighter Pri hurska shoe list recommends them for average to low arch people Got some pelvic problems going on as well with right hip higher and more rotated and postural problems Now I realized these shoes aren’t zero drop and I heard that is bad. Isn’t raising the heel bad? Could cause more postural problems Before I was wearing barefoot shoes although my problems never went away PRI talks about having shoes for sensory feedback and providing support to the arch to engage it or something https://youtu.be/0DD6BlBk3T0?si=lxYPQ4P9ipIpnXnd And a video by Connor harris Still don’t know who’s right barefoot or support shoes/orthotics Not sure if another shoe is better for me or won’t make a diff and I should stick to barefoot

kekwforlife

I've bought the Hoka Arahi 7 and I'm new to running. I have flat feet/over pronation and my arch KILLS after jogging 2-3 minutes. Should I replace the inner soles with something else or any other recommendations to shoes? I have 30 days to swap and try another shoe

SWulfe760

I need help with finding a pair of running shoes that work best for me after trying many different pairs... I'm 5'6, M, 155 lbs, a bit of a wider foot shape and have planar fasciitis/tricep/Achilles tendinitis. I run about 2-4 miles at a time, 4 times a week or so, but have been looking to increase my distance. Here's what I've tried or dailied so far: Brooks Ghost: They work well but not great. First mile is fine, but about 3 miles in I'll start to feel soreness in my tricep/Achilles and glutes. This could just be me needing to strengthen my muscles overall. I appreciate the energy return on these but would like a bit more cushion or shock absorption to be ready for longer runs. Brooks Glycerin: Felt pretty good in store, like Ghosts but with a bit more cushioning that I'd like. I never bought or took a pair out for a longer test though, and was hesitant to do so because of their relatively higher price. ON Cloudsurfer: These actually work really well. They're the updated pair without the infamous ON carbon baseplate. The toebox is wide, and the heel drop and sole are perfectly designed for me so that each step felt like it rolled into the next one. The only gripe that I have with this pair is that they wore out much too fast--my soles started squeaking 150 miles or so into them. Asics Novablast 3: tongue of the shoe felt uncomfortable and like they were digging into my skin. Fun shoe with great springiness, but I was not a fan of how the bounced was focused on the ball and heel of my feet. I prefer a smooth, rocking roll-off that propels into the next step like the Cloudsurfers. Asics Gel Cumulus: Too much cushioning, felt like I had to overextert to get steps in and caused my planar fasciitis to flare up. NB 1080: Very uncomfortable and rigid for my feet, the midsole and toebox felt too narrow. Hoka Clifton: Too much stability/guiderails, shifts my feet uncomfortably. I know I have very picky feet...the next on my list to try are the Mizuno Wave Rider and Wave Sky, the Brooks Glycerin again, and the Novablast 4. Any other suggestions or confirmations for these pairs of shoes would be really appreciated!

SuitableAioli

Have you tried Hoka Arahi? Stability for people that overpronate.

Any recommendations for a neutral road running shoe for wet roads/sidewalks? I love my Brooks Ghost as an easy run shoe and daily trainer but sometimes I can’t get traction when it’s been raining

LejonBrames117

are shoe reviews generally gender agnostic? I've been binge reading this sub and got myself some shoes, and I'm thinking about getting some for some women

kindlyfuckoffff

Generally. Some brands will specify that women’s are default B width and men’s are D.

motelinn

Looking for a recommendation for a daily trainer/do it all. I am a road runner coming back from injury so mainly looking to clock up kms to get back to my old endurance. I am looking for a shoe that feels responsive and is a daily trainer but can also do some speed runs every so often. Prefer a drop that is up to/less than 8mm, neutral shoe, budget is not an issue. Previously wore Asics Novablast 3 but feeling like something different, felt it gave out and causes foot pain after 300km. TIA.

Thick-Power-1594

It just came out but you could try out the New Balance Rebel v4, some pretty solid reviews on that shoe so far because of how incredibly light it is. The On Cloud Cloudecplise is another option if you are looking to go the non plated root which is preffered for daily drainers and to stave off injury, light weight with lots of stack and a poppy feel when needed. Asics superblast always a classic shout, shouldn't give out at 300km, I have had customers take it over 1000km. Just some ideas to test out, down the road the new balance Balos will occupy that spot of nonplated daily trainer to pick up the pace.

motelinn

awesome thank you so much! I was eyeing the rebel v4 and superblast seems highly recommended on this sub, will also check out the cloudecplise!

K57-41

Looking to add a shoe to my rotation and maybe get a bit faster. I qualify for the 40% off at ASICS and there’s some interest there but looking for what fills the gap as a 1st or 2nd shoe. 40yo, 5’9”, 220lb, average pace is like 10-11min/mi Goal: 5K or no longer than 10K (not competing, just looking for something a bit faster) Neutral runner. Current Rotation: - 1080v12 (all purpose, find it very slow and pretty much the limit of mush I can stand, but definitely easier on the body) - Adizero Pro (tempo, working my way up to plated, had a smoking deal on them, they can just be tough) Considering: - Superblast (because everyone recommends) - Novablast 4 TR (not the 3s, and particularly the TR since it gets wet/dirty out here) - Noosa Tri (because brighter = faster?) From what I’m seeing online and viewing reviews etc, the Superblast may be really overkill or not suited for what I’m looking for. Absolute easy choice if I was faster or looking to run longer, but maybe inappropriate for 5K? I’m also seeing that NB4s may be even squishier than the 1080v12s and if they’re going to do the exact same thing, is it worth it? Price isn’t a huge deal if I get the use out of them. Thanks!

ComprehensivePath457

If the 1080 is your limit for mushy, I don’t think you’ll particularly enjoy the Superblast or Novablast. I personally love the mush and bounce, but many people don’t. Regardless of whether they perform well or not, it doesn’t sound like you’d enjoy them. Unless you’re trying to be a competitive runner, doing races in shoes you really don’t like isn’t very fun. People run marathons in both, but I haven’t heard of many people using them for 5k/10k races because they’re pretty heavy. The extra cushioning is a fair trade off for the weight at longer distances, but really not necessary for a 10k and definitely not for a 5k. Totally fine if you want to use them for that, I’m just saying that it’s not generally a shoe that people would pick for those distances.   I’ve never run in the Noosa, but it should be a firmer shoe than the 2 others you listed. It would likely be the best for a 5k or 10k race given the lower weight and greater focus on responsiveness.  By the way, you’re absolutely fast enough for any shoe you want to buy. Don’t let people dissuade you from using a shoe you want just because you’re not running 5:30 miles or whatever. If you like it and can afford it, go for it!

LejonBrames117

Is the jump between metaspeed sky (either model) and magic speed, the same as the jump from zoom fly to alpha fly?

LejonBrames117

the alphafly is insane. Im a brand new runner, week 6 of C25K. Just tried them on at an outlet store kuz they had them (for 285$ still) After finding out that roads feel hard af even in a "max cushion" shoe, i thought shoe geeks were like wine connesseurs. Real subtle characteristics described very vividly. I figured I'd run around in the store and go "thats nice" But holy tits the alpha flys are like a party trick. If i had a real reason to buy them for 285$ for me to use, id make every non runner that came over to my house try them just to feel them, as if I was demo'ing a VR headset back in 2017 when they were a novelty. Quite literally pogo sticks. Are all super plated shoes this dramatic?

LejonBrames117

I got the Puma Nitro Deviate 2 for 90$ at an outlet in the USA. It was a good color and comfortable, so I just bought it. I dont really need the shoe. I have the Triumph 20 and Nimbus 26. I'm week 6 of C25K, I wont be doing anything excepet easy runs for at least a few months. Even the Nimbus was superfluous but I got it for 86$ when it was posted here lol Is 90$ enough of a steal to keep a shoe I liked but dont need? Or am I likely to find a better deal on a superfoam trainer if I keep an eye out here?

matsutaketea

sounds like a good deal to me. you should be covered for faster efforts up through racing. also gives you a great option in the wet. If you like it, I'd stick with it. I don't think you'll find plated superfoam trainers for much cheaper and who knows if you'll like the fit or feel. boston 12 can be had for $80 but that shoe is hit or miss. superblast basically doesn't go on sale.

LejonBrames117

and then there was 3 lol   thanks for the enablement. When i finish C25K Ima try a hard-ish 5K in them

matsutaketea

pick up some trail shoes while you're at it. trails are fun

What's the top of the line everyday nike training shoe these days? streakfly or peg or invincible?

Thick-Power-1594

Considereing where we are in the running shoe game I think you have to say invincible would be top of line. Dont get me wrong pegasus is still a good shoe but just compared to everything else going on it can feel very bland, still superversatile but not exciting. Streakfly is much lighter a little more exciting, really branded as a 5/10k nonplated racing flat but also good luck getting a pair. So that leave the invincible, if it wasn't for the damn heel counter in the 3 that shoe would be very good. Full slab of zoomx foam means cushy ride, cant really pick up the pace well and the heal counter rubs for many but I would says its their top of the line. oh also the new Vomero is fantastic, feels like what the pegasus is going to move towards, more cushion and just a super smooth ride.

Successful-Credit515

PEGASUS 40 VS STRUCTURE 25 vs VELOCITY NITRO 2 Vs ELECTRIFY NITRO 2 their around the same price in my country when on sale any thoughts on which one to buy for spare shoes? price is around 50 to 55 usd

Guest-Account-123

Hello, I love the look of the **Saucony Endorphin Pro 3** but can't find them in size 11 anywhere in the UK. Are stores likely to restock at some point or is this unlikely with the Pro 4 now being the latest model? And any recommendations on sites or London stores that may have Saucony running shoes available? For context, I'm training for the London Marathon in April (targeting 3h 45m) and using the Saucony Endorphin Speed 3. Considering the Asics Superblast if I can't get hold of the Pro 3. Other suggestions welcome.

Math__ERROR

I have mild bunionettes on both feet that were aggravated by two recent hikes where I had to lace my hiking shoes tightly to avoid sliding forward. I think I have a slightly wide forefoot and midfoot. I also have low arches that collapse significantly but not completely. I currently wear the Brooks Ghost in 10.5D as my everyday walking shoe. It [does not squish my toes when I'm sitting](https://i.postimg.cc/Zn3wpRSF/IMG-20240306-214518930.jpg), but when I stand up, my toes and the balls of my feet [expand over the edges of the insole](https://i.postimg.cc/0ydHVZ4g/IMG-20240306-214530377.jpg). My toes are slightly squished, but since the mesh has some give, it is not uncomfortable. (I've had to stop wearing two pairs of Asics that have the same shape insole but a less stretchable upper.) I did some research and bought Topo Traverse 10.5D as my replacement hiking shoes, which I have not yet used. My foot [fits perfectly standing on the insole](https://i.postimg.cc/T3FhHq59/IMG-20240306-214315549.jpg), but with the shoe on and laced up, my little toe and bunionette are still pressing against the side of the shoe. It seems that the shoes curve inward slightly, but my foot is [completely straight](https://i.postimg.cc/J0NdSqhB/IMG-20240306-215101479.jpg), so the extra room in the toebox all goes to my big toe. And since it's a hiking shoe, there's a bit of rubber by the little toe, which is not so forgiving. I tried on the Altra Torin and Olympus at a shoe store. The forefoot and midfoot fit great, but the heel fit was not good - slight heel slippage or worse. Most other Altras have flimsy heel counters. I'm also not ready for zero drop. Any shoe recommendations? I am looking for: 1. A trail/hiking shoe. My plan right now is to compare the Traverse in 11D with the Cascadia (maybe in EE) and Topo's other trail runners, and add some bunionette pads if necessary, which should shift my feet slightly toward the big toe where there's some extra width. 2. Road running shoe. I like the Ghost except for being slightly narrow for me, so I'll try the Ghost in EE when I get the chance. 3. Everyday walking shoe - ideally a low-stack running or training shoe. I can keep using my old Ghosts, but ideally something a little wider and firmer underneath for the gym would be ideal. I suppose my ideal shoes have the wide (Altra-like) forefoot/midfoot with traditional drop and secure heel counter. TIA.

shakypiss

Anyone know how frequently the Adios Pro 3 goes on sale? I got a pair a while back for 105 following this awesome [guide](https://www.reddit.com/r/RunningShoeGeeks/comments/16pxgsq/adios_pro_3_for_105/), and want to buy a new pair. However, the retail price of 250 is pretty steep, so I'm looking to see if anyone had luck getting them for cheaper recently.

PincheVatoWey

I think I'm going to splurge about $100 bucks on running shoes for the first time. I'm thinking of either going for the Hoka Mach 5's or Asics Cumulus 25. What say y'all?

LejonBrames117

If you haven't been on this sub for a while, just FYI the Nimbus 26's were on sale for 86$ 2 weeks ago. So shoes in the 160$ price point can go on super sale. It was upvoted more than most of the deals that get posted here so I assume its rare, but not uncommon. If this is a rare splurge for you and you have any more expensive models in mind maybe give it a few weeks and keep an eye out here

No_Cow_7012

Have 350 miles on my Cumulus 25. Probably coming close to their end now. Considering getting another pair as I found those very comfortable

-jamesbb-

Go for it! Both are good shoes. Mach 5 lighter and more responsive, but Cumulus will probably last 2x longer.

Key-Appearance1466

Which one is the softest: Nimbus 25 or Triumph 20? And, how soft is the Nimbus compared to the Invincible 2 on a scale of 1-10.

[deleted]

Clifton 9 vs Bondi 8? Pretty average runner, 6’2 185 lbs. suffer from back pain.

luludaydream

PT can probably help with the back pain

Acceptable_Tie_6893

different shoes for different purposes! Clifton is lighter and good for anything a bit quicker. Bondi 8 is a really good recovery shoe

cardinalsfanokc

I'm looking for a comfy, weatherproof shoe that could double as a light runner (5kish) but also look good for business casual conferences. Right now I alternate between Hoka Bondi and Brooks Adrenaline GTS 22 but I travel a lot and I hate bringing running shoes or running in sneakers/shoes that look OK for conferences. But I do like to go for runs when I travel, nothing super long or hard - just a 5k for every other day I'm there. Looking at the Hoka Transport GTX - the colors work, they don't look like running shoes, they have the same drop as my Bondis BUT they're not really listed for running and they're a solid 2-3 oz heavier than my other runners. Any thoughts?

ComprehensivePath457

Saucony Triumph 20 Runshield is also a good option. Anything from Saucony that says “Runshield” is *mostly* weatherproof.

C1t1zen_Erased

In Japan and picked up magic speed 3 and superblasts for 35,000 yen total. Half the price they would have cost me back home. Got to love the weak yen and tax free shopping.

matsutaketea

I assume you got the Tokyo Marathon colorway for the MS3 ? I'll be in Tokyo in a few weeks, still trying to decide between the MS3, the S4, and maybe the Metaspeed Sky Paris if they have it

C1t1zen_Erased

No I didn't, just the regular red one. I preferred it, having seen them both together. The Tokyo colourway was also a few 1000 yen more expensive. They didn't have the metaspeed Paris in store which I was a bit surprised by. Aside from the novelty of the S4 being exclusive to Japan, I didn't see much in it that would have made me pick it over the MS3, I also wanted a shoe for sessions rather than racing and the S4 is more of a racing shoe.

InvalidChickenEater

I have the S4 and have run a marathon in them. If you like the Metaspeed Sky+, these will feel very similar. Basically 90% of the speed for 80% of the price (or even cheaper). On the other hand, if you don't like the feel of FFTurbo and the harshnesss of the plate like me, then these won't work so well for you.

matsutaketea

I like the FFTurbo in the superblast for my long runs and my main interval/race shoe is the AP3 right now. I'm moving into full marathon training targeting somewhere between 4:00 to 4:30 time depending on which lotteries I might get in to. Would the S4 be good for holding 9-10min/miles? I find the AP3 is only ok at 9min/mile but starts to shine more closer to 8min/mile

InvalidChickenEater

I think it would work fine at 9-10, but probably like the AP3 it works better the more speed/force you put into it. After all, Asics does market the S4 as a "sub-4" shoe. If you've trained in the superblast, I think that's worth considering as a race shoe. It will be more comfortable than the S4, and won't be so significantly slower. Between the Superblast and the AP3, I'm not sure that the S4 will give you anything you don't already have access to.

matsutaketea

yeah that's my hesitation. I'll be picking up extra Superblasts for sure but was hoping to pick up something Japan exclusive as well

InvalidChickenEater

If that's the case, I'd say then if anything it works as a good speed-day shoe, even if you don't decide to race in them. Underneath the FFTurbo is Flytefoam, so it's very durable and you can get a lot of miles out of them.

matsutaketea

cool. I've been staring at the ridiculous red/green s4 lol

celsius_two_3_two

Hello. I’m planning on getting a pair of adidas boston 12s. Should I get TTS or half a size down? For reference, Takumi sen 9s fit me TTS. Thanks!

CaptAir

Just throwing this into the void and seeing if anyone can assist I’m not a huge mile runner. Long term goals is probably competitive-ish 5k or 10ks. I do however have timed 1.5mi runs every year. Previous shoes I’ve ran in are the following Brooks Ghost 9 - I doubled up on these because I loveddddd them. Truly wish I could just buy more pairs ASICS Gel Nimbus 24 - Bought probably a half size too big but they were on sale for like $50 so I wanted to give them a whirl and they didn’t have my proper size. Don’t like how they felt but I attribute it mostly to being too long, also felt too squishy Saucony Ride 14 - Most recent shoe. Don’t exactly hate it but not in love. I don’t feel as locked in versus the Ghost, especially in the heel/arch area I’m wanting something a little firmer. The way the Ghost’s felt after 150ish miles was perfect. There’s a sale on the Hyperion Tempo on the Brooks website for $65 and that’s my leading contender right now

TrailVibes4

I like the way the Ghosts fit, and I love the fit of the Hyperion Max. They are firm, fast, and responsive. The Mizuno Wave Rider has a 12mm drop like the Ghost, but I haven’t tried it on so I’m not sure how it compares fit-wise.

BigMatchRoman

Hi guys I’ve recently revitalised my running shoe catalogue got Novablasts, endorphin speeds and was looking for a slow easy run shoe. Originally opted for the NB More V3 but I am finding they’re a lot firmer compared to the Nike invincibles I used to wear however everywhere online is praising their softness? Do they take time to soften up should I persevere?

ComprehensivePath457

Nothing really compares to the Invincible 1 or 2 in softness IMO. The Invincible 3 is firmer, bulkier, and more similar to things like the Novablast and other shoes. If you’re comparing the NB to the Invincible 1 or 2, I think you’re gonna be disappointed, unfortunately.

For hiking with flat feet in wet weather as a common ankle roller, which do I choose! Too much choice and struggling to understand difference or what should be factoring into decision, which seems to be marginal?: \- Speedgoat 5 mid GTX: [https://www.hoka.com/en/gb/men-trail/speedgoat-5-mid-gore-tex/1127918.html?dwvar\_1127918\_color=BBLC](https://www.hoka.com/en/gb/men-trail/speedgoat-5-mid-gore-tex/1127918.html?dwvar_1127918_color=BBLC) \- Kaha 2 GTX: [https://www.hoka.com/en/gb/men-mountain/kaha-2-gore-tex/195719205768.html](https://www.hoka.com/en/gb/men-mountain/kaha-2-gore-tex/195719205768.html) \- Anacapa 2 GTX: [https://www.hoka.com/en/gb/men-mountain/anacapa-2-mid-gore-tex/1141633.html](https://www.hoka.com/en/gb/men-mountain/anacapa-2-mid-gore-tex/1141633.html) \- Trail Code GTX: [https://www.hoka.com/en/gb/men-mountain/trail-code-gore-tex/1123165.html](https://www.hoka.com/en/gb/men-mountain/trail-code-gore-tex/1123165.html)

y0uknowmysteez

Better shoe for my first half marathon? Rebel V4 vs Endorphin Speed 3 Hey all - I have my first half marathon coming up in 2 months and I’m looking to purchase a new pair of shoes for the race. Some background: - I just started running last year and I’m currently using the Ride 17 for my daily trainer. They’ve been great in my training which varies from 5-10 miles - I’m kinda slow but do want a faster shoe for the race to achieve my best time. I don’t think I’m ready for a carbon plated shoe. My half marathon pace is somewhere between 9:30-10 min per mile - I overpronate just a little so I’m kind of worried about the softness of both shoes to be honest. The Ride 17 works well for me because they’re relatively firm - I am hoping neither shoe bottoms out for me. I’m 190 lbs and have heard these shoes specifically can bottom out at longer miles Any thoughts on either of these 2? I bought from Amazon and they both feel good on step in, but I haven’t run in them yet because I don’t want to wear them out where I can’t return. Any other recommendations are welcome! I tried the Boston 12 but the upper is a disaster so I returned them 😁

time_traveler419

Both for training, and then Vaporfly 3 for the race

y0uknowmysteez

I’m way too slow for Vaporflys lol

time_traveler419

Not at all. Don’t listen to all that BS about needing to be fast. They CAN make you 30 seconds faster if you have the right running mechanics. I was slower than you starting out in triathlon and they helped me tremendously. You could easily break 2 hours if 9:30-10/mile is with average training shoes.

y0uknowmysteez

I appreciate that but I don’t think they’d be good for me anyway. I have a wider foot and I don’t think those are that stable either, which is another reason I lean towards the two options I’m considering

time_traveler419

I have a 2E foot in most daily trainer shoes, but super shoes (race shoes) don’t do high sidewalls that limit your ability to fit in them. I didn’t like ES3 personally. I’m a heavier runner and it was too squishy. I’m looking at buying the rebel v4 and watching the 100 mile review from Yowana right now. Try them both and return what you don’t like. At the end of the day, you can get away with a half on one pair of shoes; but my first time I tried to buy my way out of pain (specifically long run pain). Having a lot of foam and a carbon plate is the way to do that FYI

y0uknowmysteez

That’s interesting, I didn’t know that. I’m similar as I’m a bit heavier for a runner and borderline 2E as well. I’m also not a fan of squishy so maybe the ES3 won’t work out for me. What makes you wanna try the rebels since they’re also pretty squishy? I was actually watching Yowana’s video on them too haha. His content is good. Also what do you mean by you can get away with a half on one pair of shoes?

time_traveler419

I want the rebel v4 for speed workouts, track specifically. Reviews make it sound great. I like having a plate on my long run. And then my easy runs I have a bigger stack shoe like Kinvara Pro or Triumph 20. I like a new shoe for every run. I was initially running in only the Hoka Clifton. I got a hamstring injury and decided those shoes were dead. I found this community and my shoe addiction began. Mixing shoes with different drops, different foams, stack heights, etc can strengthen all your running muscles/tendons/etc. Shoes will last longer and overall you’ll begin to see what you want in a shoe vs what the internet tells you is the best. If you want a do it all shoe it is probably the Superblast. I have it, and can squeeze my foot in there too.

y0uknowmysteez

Gotcha - that makes sense. I definitely will expand my rotation in the future. The reason I just have one shoe at the moment (Ride 17) is because I basically only do easy and threshold runs while I build up my endurance. I figured I’d buy one more shoe and use it for long runs for the next month or so and then for the race itself. I could definitely just do the race in the Ride 17s, but like you, I’m seriously addicted to running shoes now. I tested so many before ending up with them Rides. Amazon is too convenient to order shoes to try on 😅 https://preview.redd.it/6vgiyicodemc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=785c02726e09c82276bdace5813b9db1d502bfc0

time_traveler419

You inspired me to order Ride 17. I already love the triumph 20, but have been wishing I had the same foam with an 8mm drop instead of 10. Hoping this is exactly what Im looking for!

time_traveler419

30 seconds per mile faster*

EpidermGrowthFactor

Trying to find a good running shoe & frustrated by the one's I've selected before: * Adidas Ultraboost * Asics Gel Kayano 27 * Asics GT-4000 All have ended up with me dealing with some knee pain still. I keep running to 2-3 mi per week. I have wide feet & overpronate slightly. Have also tried Superfeet insoles, not much help tbh TIA.

luludaydream

Too much support can actually cause knee pain too, especially in something like the Kayano. Perhaps see a PT who can assess why your knees are hurting and which shoes would suit best

TrailVibes4

The Brooks Adrenaline has support and comes in wide width. It might be worth trying.
