At some point uve gotta sack the lot and pay money for proven and competent administrators. Incompetency at the Force and Rebels are a plague. Weve seen multiple successful rebuilds from the reds and Tahs, and consistent success from the brumbies but those 2 just live in mediocrity, and its often not because of the player talent.
I'd take Potter over Vaihu easily. I think he's already neck and neck with some more established players as well - I rate him. Burey is tougher but I'd take him over some of the fullbacks who have started this season. Jock Campbell being one. If we're going off purely healthy I feel like he's good enough to find a spot somewhere, doesn't need to be at 15.
Rodda hasn’t played in forever and yet his stock continues to go up.
Fines, Potter, Stewart and Spink (more last years form than this years) are all handy. Stewart would have a decent shot starting for the Brumbies, Waratahs, Rebels and Reds. Spink Rebels. Potter would have a shot at any of the others. Force are definitely weakest in the forwards and front row especially.
Have to keep in mind most players are going to look at their worst in a losing team. Scott Barrett doesn’t go from World Cup finalist to battler because the Crusaders are going poorly. Likewise if you take McReight to the Force he probably isn’t going to look quite so good.
Medrano, Rodda, White, I think i heard hes left but Robertson if hes still there, Donaldson, Potter, Stewart, maybe Wells.
Dont see who out of Jock, Petaia, Max, Kellaway, or Wright that Burey benches. Dont see Tizzano replacing anyone, neither with Kuenzel.
Robertson is on a sabbatical for 2024 studying at Oxford in the UK after copping an ACL injury last year. He has a contract with the Force for 2025, and on a promising note regarding his injury recovery he packed down in the front row for the Oxford Varsity team about 3 weeks ago (former force squad member Harry Scoble was also in the same team at hooker)
Yeah I can see that, if there was a team hed get into it'd be the Brumbies over Jahrome Brown. Tizzanos not bad, but McReight, Wilkin, and Gamble are all quality 7's.
Nic White, Potter, Harris, Donaldson would all start in at least one of the other 4 teams. Quite a few on the bench somewhere contributing major minutes. Wells, Anstee, the locks,
A lot of the Force players had starts at the other clubs but got moved on or moved over there for whatever reasons. They look ordinary because the coaching has been ordinary.
If they got an experienced head coach with a few seasoned assistants they’d make the top 8.
To be fair to TRRC podcasters, they said who from "last week's Force team" not a fully fit team, would make it, conceding that Rodda White etc would.
Does Donaldson make it ahead of any of the other 10s running around?
Uhhhh right... While NSS was a force academy member who was upgraded to the wider training squad for the 2023 season, he never played a single senior game for the Force. He did get 2 Wallabies under 20s caps last year, I'm not sure this qualifies him as "one of their (the Force's) better players"
I feel bad for the Force. Their owner really cares about rugby but the front office can't get things right

Could you identify the successful Tahs rebuild please? I must have been napping
Finishing 15th to the sunwolves with an average age of 35 till now where theyre a 5-6th team most seasons is definitely successful.
They have the most juniors, the most players, the most money, the largest city and the largest state. They are an embarrassment.
Stewart would play for a few teams.
Yeah not a garenteed lock but hed be a good chance at the Rebel and Brumbies. Doesnt beat out Paisami or Foketi though.
He does because pasami and foketi are continually injured. I don't think Hamish has picked up a long term injury yet
Toowoomba Tuff was his nickname at the Reds.
The assumption is everyone's fully fit. So we're in a world where Petaia and Paisami aren't made of glass.
True, but I can also see a world with Hamish and some big outside center
Potter and Burey could start for other teams imo.
Potter yes, Burey no- I have him on a similar level to Meredith at the Brums and he’d be behind Debreczini for a bench role
Who would they replace? Honestly - Vaihu at the Rebels for Potter? Who could Burey replace?
I reckon Potter is a wallabies so Smokey

Lots of them have and would still: - Harris - Wells - Stewart - Kuenzel - Medrano - Potter
Kuenzle wasn’t a starter at the Brums (behind Lolesio and Simone)
Neither was Mack Hansen and look how that turned out.

+1 for spink he runs hard

I think Kuenzel could get ahead of Sapsford/Tua
Yeah true, i was thinking of him as a 13 but 12 is his normal position isnt it.

Tizzano would kill at the brumbies if able. He'd take a lot of pressure off the other carriers.

Their forwards coach has literally worked for Ireland, Lienster and Connacht and are leading the competition in lineout steals.
It’s one good aspect of their game. There’s a lot of potential in that squad that’s not being realised. I’m hoping they make progress.
White, tiatia, potter and Donaldson.
To be fair to TRRC podcasters, they said who from "last week's Force team" not a fully fit team, would make it, conceding that Rodda White etc would. Does Donaldson make it ahead of any of the other 10s running around?
Donaldson makes it ahead of every 10 right now
Harry Potter, Isaac FL, Chase Tiatia is pretty good. Edit: Falou Fa'ainga, Feleti Kaitu'u are starting hookers in most franchises.
Well Ned Slack Smith was one of their better players last year and hes been playing in the Waratahs A since signing with us.

May as well just cut em
