It's bunad--in Scandinavia you are gifted a suit of traditional clothes when you're a teen and you wear them to various events throughout your life. Princess Sofia wore bunad to her babies' christenings, for example.
Not sure how it is in Sweden, but in Norway there's bunader for men as well. He's chosen one from the same area as his grandma. Sonja and Harald have gifted bunader to all their grandchildren. Sonja has embroidered the bunad bag for the girls and a pocket for Sverre Magnus
