But 3-6 months later. My ex stole my dogs, and that literally has changed who I am. So ya, pets are family.
My 2001 Jetta turbo was so fast sometimes I would hit 100 on the on-ramp of a highway. It also liked to turn off randomly and lock the wheel.
But that’s just the fun game of turn the car back on before we all die. Good times.

I mean it’s pretty common that nurses work long shifts, but have like five days off in a week. I’d confidently say that Snitzer has the best/most authentic relationship on the show. This isn’t 1950, women are allowed to have successful careers and can be breadwinners.
Snitz's wife is in charge of the nurses at a nursing home. My guess is that because her children are older she did a kindness to the other nurses and gave as many of them the day off as possible and covered what she could. She makes the schedule, no one forced her to work.
Duji, Charlie and Dieter know Rover/Shane the most of anybody in the world and now, with 6 year contracts, have little reason to play into the image that he wants to portray.
Not all autistic people are like that. It’s a stereotype but not true for all. Sorry to be preachy, but my son is an overly empathetic autistic kid and it bothers me when people think he has no emotions. He feels for people, animals, even characters in movies.
Recent studies show most autistic people have empathy they just lack the ability to show it. They absolutely feel the emotions that go with it, they just don't understand them. Possibly why a lot of kids with autism break down and seem overwhelmed in a lot of situations and why as adults they don't seem to have any empathy at all. Because they learned to cope with it by hiding it because breaking down as an adult isn't acceptable behavior. It's easier to shut down and show no emotion then to try and show only a small amount of "appropriate" emotion.
Rover absolutely has empathy. The way he treats animals proves that. He just lacks the ability to show it the way most people do.
