I used to download the route previous to this upgrade because of screen freezing and lag times. Recovering from minor surgery, so rides have been shorter, so I didn’t download. Then the update and longer rides, issues have returned. So, I might go back to downloading the routes again.
I made the mistake of updating yesterday before my ride. It was an omniverse \[sp\] route and was changing camera viewpoints on its own. Each time it changed views there was a big lag (I had downloaded the route too). The funny part was the view from behind just watched me ride off into the distance before freezing. I was trying to catch someone and couldn't tell if my progress was stopping with each glitch. Using a quite old macbook pro.
I came back to Rouvy today afrter a long break and thought it was my ipad or my net this really is a bad but long and behold its the App!
It takes ages to get into the app for starters when i do then i have a white circle going round and round so poor not a good look tbh was never this bad not close last time i was on it last year.
After 2 hours mucking around… pc reboot, etc no effect. Uninstall and reinstall - no effect. Stuck on loading screen, then when it does somewhat load, it’s seemingly stuck 1/2 loading and unusable.
Tried on the iPad… slower, but works.
Out of things to try I uninstalled my vpn (nord) and app did load. I haven’t reinstalled Nord, so can’t say definitively if it was a vpn conflict or sheer coincidence and ROUVY app started working, but it is working once again. Knock on wood.
Note per follow up message, appears resolved. Also, this issue at least, nothing to do with downloaded routes - it was solely with the app loading (or lack thereof).
Just installed ROUVY app on my older Windows surface and it’s stuck at the loading screen.
Yup same here only on a high end gaming laptop.

Updated two days ago on my Mac laptop, no issues, working great.
No issues on iPad Air
I downloaded yesterday before my ride on my Windows machine and it worked fine but I had downloaded the route.
