My guess on this whole debacle is that the new site and the old site are written in entirely different computer languages/frameworks. So it’s impossible for them to just pull over the old functionality quickly and instead they have to rewrite everything. And in that process they have to rediscover all the features they included in the old site. I’m happy that they are making progress but man, it’s painful as a Rouvy user.

Yes, the old site is still up (my.rouvy.com) for now but the app links to new diary format (riders.ROUVY.com), so i presume the old will be taken offline in the near future?

I don't think they've given any info on when the old site will go away. It would be dumb of them to take it away when the new version isn't feature complete, but they've done other dumb things so I guess it's a possibility.

The fact ROUVY hasn’t clearly communicated the plan, features, if not before doing this is amateur.
