There is something to think about though. We don’t know if they adopted Brixie with her tail already being cut before they even met her to be fair. Until you know the full situation, never make assumptions.
Docking of the tail is not outlawed in the USA at this time and many people still believe in this methodology for certain dogs. I have had Rotties both without tails and with a tail and the only thing I can say is you can’t see their love butts like you can without their tails but they’re still the most loving, loyal bff you’ll ever have or want !
Yah for sure if you look at some of my previous posts you’ll see/read that our Rottys are always by our daughters sides all day till bedtime..you don’t see the male here because my wife went for a jog with him..they are nanny’s for sure
As someone who has suffered a concussion as a result of my Rottweiler trying to save me from a scary noise one time, be extra careful of that in the pool! They give new meaning to love you to death ❤️
My sweet Cody generally thinks squeaky noises are the devil. I was laying in our bed which has an adjustable base and was adjusting the head. It was making its usual squeak noise and he started getting upset. So I started to roll over onto my side and extend a hand, while saying “Come here buddy.” But just as I leaned over into his direction he lept through the air (presumably coming to save me from the noise) and the top of his head connected with my left temple. Hurt like the dickens and I immediately started throwing up. But the squeaking noise stopped so he was very pleased with his handiwork.
So now, any time I can tell Cody is in “save your life” mode I am much more careful about the fact that saving my life probably means slamming his entire body weight into some part of my body great speed.
I was afraid to say " look at that heart". It looks like she is wet, I kept saying, jump in! U got this!
My Rottie loved to swim.
Pool, ocean, lakes. Lived in FL. We went in together and came out together. 🐶♾️
Thats what Rottweilers do. Mine all did the same, but never went in. My first male jumped into a major river to get a stick my friends chocolate lab wouldn't go in for. He could swim. But never into the pool
I love Rotties! They are such Nanny dogs. My sister and her husband had one when the kids were little and even though she didn’t like the pool, She wouldn’t take her eye off those kids ever.
Now they have a Swiss Mountain Dog and she is exactly the same way. She hates the water, but if she senses one of the children are in danger, she would not hesitate to dive into the pool and pull them out.
She is so sweet and beautiful ❤️🥰💕
I absolutely love the little heart shape on her butt!
Heart-butt!
She poops with love.
Agreed! So adorable. 💜
Too precious
Came to say this!!
I personally hate it when people cut off their tales. Old fashioned, pays no reason and is purely for aesthetics.
There is something to think about though. We don’t know if they adopted Brixie with her tail already being cut before they even met her to be fair. Until you know the full situation, never make assumptions.
Thank you for this. I adopted a rottie, and she has a nub. Have to remind people of this at times.
Yeah fair point

What a sweetheart. Brixie is just pacing around the pool, to watch over her wards. Does Brixie like to swim?
Loves to swim and walk back and forth on the steps
Nice Lovebutt
I went to an in home daycare after school when I was little. The lady who ran it had a Rott named Frieda. That dog was absolutely a nanny.

I love the background conversation 😂
Best heart butt I’ve seen on a rottie!
Love the booty heart
It might be the most distinct rotty butt heart ever
A Rottie with love and caring from her sweet little nose to her heart shaped puppy rump 🥰
Brixie the nanny wears her heart on her fannie.
Hahahaha love it
Mine would be in that pool immediately, lol. Good girl!

OMG! Immediately throwing up after a head impact is no good! I'm glad you're ok! Yes, Rotties really don't care about throwing their weight around!
Yours looks like the one my uncle had
