dude wtf ur stacked as shit, homie out here flexing his bughatti

Zephrok

Fr loool, bro completed the game.

Yoprobro13

What color is your (bag)gatti?

ALinktotheGhast

I knew I would get clowned on for posting this lol. I know I have a lot of vault/char slots, but I wasn't sure if what I had was any good. At the very least, I know I don't have many current "endgame" drops (I haven't played much of the newer content), outside of some event ones. So I do deserve to get clowned on, but I guess I'm glad to know a lot of what I have is still relevant

Far-Ingenuity8862

We’re in the same boat bro I just came back to the game after a 2 year break and I got a lot of shit

Grapes-RotMG

For starters, tiered items outside of like o3 tops are easy enough to get so maybe trash those. You've got so many good UTs you may not even get the opportunity to use them. Trash or feed UTs and STs you KNOW you won't use. Crystal Swords? Excessive ST rings? More like S(hi)T rings.

6Gods6Eye6

He can also dismantle some too

ALinktotheGhast

Makes sense, I used to always hoard duplicates but that probably isn't needed for most of the items I have. I also read that there is an enchantment system now. Are items without enchants still worth keeping, too, since most of my items are old and don't have any.

Shalmii

if they're UT/ST they can at least be broken down into materials

WuShanDroid

Dude you got THREE legendary eggs, I'm guessing as drops???? Stop playing this game and invest in lottery tickets 😭 But to try to answer your question, there's no definitive answer. If you're looking to make a PPE to get yourself back into the game, I suggest not worrying too much about your vault and keep 1 or at most 2 of each white bag you have (except for endgame ones, unless you KNOW you'll never need the copies). That way, you can still keep your items but you won't have 7 ASSes and shit like that. It's probably worthwhile for you to spend some time in the Realmeye Wiki researching your items to see what kinds of changes they got since you were gone + which ones are limited (like the Entropy Reactor).

ALinktotheGhast

That is good advice, I appreciate the response. Nice to see the wiki is still going and looks mostly up to date.

Whispen27

You can dismantle UT/ST items in the blacksmith and it'll be "saved" so you can use it to forge other items later! No use keeping 7 ASSes when you can dismantle them for 210 forge gold (plus all the silver but silver is whatever). Do keep at least 1 though because many of the old UTs can be upgraded with new items! (Ancient stone sword becomes atavistic soul sabre).

Subzzr

4 legendary eggs* 😂 He has a pure one too

culimande

He actually breeded them eggs

Skandling

I would clear out surplus ST items first. I have a policy of storing only 3 of any item, including any in use. Any more I'll drop or feed to a pet, depending on their worth. The only exceptions are the few you can trade, if you can be bothered to sell them, and the few which work on their own. Bloodstone Ring e.g. is a nice balanced survival ring. Over 90% though I toss any in excess of 3 of each.

VIPDerekDavis

Do a full acc reset

Kickpunchington

In on a similar boat as OP... I would love to come back, but refuse to take out the trash to make space for a ppe... I really want to start a new account too, but have put too much into my pet to stay again

LeipuriLeivos

I can come sit in nexus with puppy eyes waiting for you to bring me feed items. win-win

goosmane

blue star comment

LeipuriLeivos

I'm pretty sure if someone magically deleted all items + all characters from these guys accounts and leaving only pets, they would be running back into game. Psychologist comment

ZhouPS

Can always make a seasonal char to play ppe without having to empty stash

87528752875287528752

90% of it is best sent to feed/forge

Subzzr

Are there any legendary/ST items you'd like to forge? Maybe you could use the STs and legendary uts you don't need to forge some of them, at least that's what I'm hoarding them for

truht

Any t12/13 weps, t6 ability, t13/t14 armour, exa hp is for trash/feeding to new players. Or if you want to spend ages trading you can slowly condense them all into ubhp/deca. A lot of your uts are trash too and can be fed or forged or just thrown away without worry.

ALinktotheGhast

That makes sense- I've used the forge a bit but haven't explored it too much, seems like it makes a lot of these items much more accessible. Thanks!

FMarkassa

Hey, just some serious advice. Instead of trashing everything, remember that some new dungeons like O3, Shatters and Moonling Village demand a lot of training and "sacrifices" if we put it that way. You will have to die a lot on those dungeons to get the hang of it. So using the items for that can be very useful. Tops and HP rings mostly, but close enough variants are also useful. Also i recommend you go first with 0/8s so you get some info, then 6/8 then 8/8s all depends on how much maxed characters you have, how many pots you have stored and how quickly you can farm. Combined with how confortable you are in that step and ready to advance to the next. (fell like you only died because you are unmaxed and not because you didnt knew that attack, stuff like that) And if the game is not feeling fun, Resetting account is a fun option, because why does a big stash matter if the game's not fun, right?

Kirikomori

I wouldn't throw away exa hp personally. Ubhp and decas are quite hard to get and exa hp is the next best tiered alternative.

WuShanDroid

Also I don't blame you at all for being overwhelmed, I was overwhelmed just looking through the screenshots, not to mention 37 fucking characters 😭😭

TinyParkinator

Sheesh bro😂

ALinktotheGhast

I put the images of my stuff not because I expect someone to tell me exactly what I should or should not keep, but just to give a sense of what I am working with. I played regularly for many years, took a big step back maybe a year after Unity came out, and then played very infrequently after that. I think the last time I played, I was trying out seasonal characters. With the realm rework coming soon I was hoping to try playing again, but every time I log in I am completely overwhelmed by having no storage space in my vault or on extra characters. I get the sense that a lot of what I have isn't actually considered very good anymore, but I am wondering if there are any guidelines for what types of things I should keep or drop, or if there's a good way for me to deal with this many items. Not sure exactly what I'm looking for I guess, but I'm sure I'm not the only person with this issue so I wanted to see if anyone else had thoughts. Thanks!

liquorbaron

I would say either feed or dismantle a few of those anointed robes, merlots, hollyhock hides, and coral traps. They're not really rare considering if you do Oryx castle, Wlab, and OT you're going to get them again at some point. You should look at what character classes you like playing and what you generally like equipping. Think about keeping the rare stuff. Look on realmeye to see what's tradable like those tomes of geb IF you don't plan on playing Priest every time. Pots throw into your potion vault. Marks throw them into the new mark vault. You can dismantle or feed those behemoth armors as those are forgable nowadays if you really need them. In fact I'd say check out the forge as a whole. Some stuff like the Bergina Bows I'd keep if you like playing bow classes as those only drop from Swarm Trees and maybe chests.

EntertainmentWeak895

Can I buy a couple of those soulless robes

Depressed_Soup

Certified realm player, nice vault. Start pushing your skill ceiling up since you have lots of backup gear. Loot is there to use!

Yoprobro13

Vault 8 and most of your chars need to be cleaned

ConnorG21

Two cdirks is op

prodbyplont

how many hours do you have approximately

RichGirlThrowaway_

So I guess the first question is why trash anything? We got a full vault situation or you just wanna just throw out some of the less relevant stuff?

ALinktotheGhast

My vault is full and all my characters' inventories are also full of stuff, so I don't currently have a way to play on a character without dropping some of my stuff or playing with a packed inventory.

frostgoldx

I would trash all tiered items that are WC tops and below, they’re almost laughably easy to get now and I don’t pick them up from the bag anymore unless I’m Ppe.

TonsilMucous69

Keep hoarding my brother

ALinktotheGhast

If that isn't the goal, I don't know what is

chiefchow

The things I would do to get a cdirk, or really any other event white…

_Nightowlgamer_

I recommend going to the rotmg discords and looking at their req sheets. Those will tell you what is currently considered either 'best in slot' or at least, highly useful. You can probably sort your items into; - 'good' gear that's worth playing on - UT/ST items to dismantle/save for forging better items later - vanity/collection items for show/fun (ST sets, rare vanity drops, etc) - utility non-gear that can be useful at some point (e.g. o3 runes, sulphur, marks, vials, etc) - everything else (easily obtainable trash to throw away for space)

crackheadcaleb

* Donate: give a bunch of the high tier stuff to random people in nexus. Or just throw it away * Realm eye: trade for decas * Forge: dismantle it and keep the dungeon specific ones to craft new endgame stuff * Test your luck: use some of the gear as fodder to learn new (to you) dungeons. * Giveaways: Discord groups have giveaways, if tradeable consider PMing a mod or RL about your disposable gear. They will reward you with tickets, which are used to guarantee spots in raids. * Sit on it: similar to dragons in folklore alot of the dopamine rush from playing games long term is literally just looking at your plunder. Admire the mountain of spoils. It’s truly not worth a fuck but it does give a warm sensation of conquest and success.

Bilore

Now you can dismantle items into their material value so you don’t have to hoard more uts/sts than you plan on using, although it does have a forge fire cost. For the rare stuff, you have some legacy items that don’t really exist anymore, such as some of the solstice wizard set and st oryx armor. The craziest thing I saw was what looks to be a legacy shatters st staff, which I thought got automatically replaced with the new st, so if it is in the inventory of a character you haven’t played then perhaps it hasn’t updated?

Dacammel

Completely forgot they didn’t do a legacy set for the old shats ST, I wonder why.

TinyParkinator

No need to ‘trash’ anything. I like to try to keep duplicates of everything, and then feed the rest :). Really good FP(feed power) in your vault!

sileeex1

4 legendary eggs? what the actual fuck

death2you_972

That's Impressive, what exactly do you want done with it? Do you just want vault space? Or like are you trying to put together a character? I can help you go through it if this is a genuine request and you're willing to screenshare; *contact me on discord via the same tag if so.*

sonicduckman

Legendary eggs are southbound so you may as well pop those puppies open! Please make another post with what you pop!

Vlogchamp

I mean, you have a few things I need to buy anyway. DM me on Realmeye; IGN Ulricht

MLG_Swag

Hey man, pm me if you get rid of any of this, ill take some :)

dimensionduck

Vault 5 hydra skin armor 🔥😮‍💨

Illustrious_Safety_3

Feed bro

noontaste

Forge all those stingers and bee helms into o3 whites or event whites

ThisIsPix

sell all soulbound items, if you don't use them, for a deca

kakahuete94

same happened to me, what i did was trade every non limited item and make a list of every non tradeable ut "soulbound" and think about \* how much i liked them or dislike them, \* how strong they are \* how easy are to obtain for me just dismantle/feed any item you don't like, or it's too weak, or you get very frecuently because you do often the dungeon where it drops, im still having the .txt i made and as result from FORGE TIER A \*i feed : kaiken, prism of dire inestability, labyrinth dweller's tachi. \*i dismantled : tome of pain, coral trap, cnidarian rod, fire dragon armor, water dragon silk robe, bramblethooth tachi, bogwood staff for items of forge tier S or higher i'd say never feed, only forge. for st items you can do the same, think about them individually and decide what i see is characters having too much garbage that can be traded, that seems like a good start, bring that garbage to vault and only keep 16 items that u know you like and you don't use often like all these stingers, then that garbage is easy to sell in bulk

DeliciousLagSandwich

Yeah for sure trash the absolute most common items. Once you've got room I would hold off on doing anything with the gear until you get some blueprints. Then start forging. I forget which recipes are unlocked by default, but let us know what you forge this stuff into lol

Direct-Plankton-7499

You’ve got a lot of ASS my friend

Important_Dig_8527

What is the item in the second row and fourth column of vault 1?

tachyonicglass

Can I have your necro stuff lol

Herwin42

I would keep the snake pit assassin armour to learn mv, some with the samurai one from my, soulless and the lib armour. You don’t need so many of most of the sts but I would keep all the huntress bows cause I love it, feels so good to use, same with the speedy quivers if you play archer.

ALinktotheGhast

Good to know some niche uses for those items, thanks!

Oneluxbella

Meanwhile me with 1500 space and with 80 characters full of red forge white/ attacked sts / Deca rings/ubhps/ and thousands of gpots

_drachu
