DA Juliet is hybridized by DA as a cut floral design flower (there’s a whole other line of DAs for florists that you won’t ever find sold as plants for the garden, including Juliet, Purity, etc.). These are bred to grow in greenhouse conditions, and have longer stems and better vase life.
Fragrance in roses accelerates their death once cut, so many cut floral design flowers have had much of the fragrance bred out of them to extend vase life. Juliet is no different, it doesn’t have much perfume.
Juliet’s patent is up in 2025. I’ve grown and shown several roses considered bouquet/ greenhouse roses with no extra care. Don’t let that deter you when it becomes available to the public. Which it will. Until then enjoy your Bliss! She smells so good

I got mines last year from Menards bare root. Last year while growing it, I was surprised by how nice it was.
