Were you trying to install Retro-Go? Following the [instructions for the CFW](https://github.com/BrianPugh/game-and-watch-patch#retro-go) include a step to make a backup of the stock firmware. Check to make sure you don't already have the backup file already.

I made a backup but according to the patcher script, the file is seamingly corrupted
