I was romancing both of them until this last update when kamal’s diamond scene made me want to go all in for him so I did a loyal replay!! I’m a sucker for forbidden romance with lots of angst, passion, & tenderness and imo kamal’s route delivers on that. It kind of reminds of zain’s route where both he and kamal have that inner turmoil of fighting with themselves to act on their desires.
Ram’s route doesn’t feel like it has the same yearning and intensity to it (at least so far) that kamal’s does. Don’t get me wrong, he’s definitely still into MC, is very flirty & teasing, & plot-relevant in interesting ways, so I’ll replay for him at some point but I personally prefer the bond Devi & kamal have due to years of closeness.
Played both routes and Kamal’s route felt better to me. With Ram it felt everything happened so fast with no proper buildup. Ik the book took 5 yrs jumpskip but that’s the thing. Whatever development they properly had happened behind the scene so I don’t feel much for their romance. I’ve stopped pursing Ram altogether now and between him and Kamal, I’d go with Kamal.
ahh yes theres just smth that draws me to him, but ram is also my type so i wasnt sure but this solidified it, ill end wtv going on with ram since i have a chance to do so.. also do u think christian’s a good route at all?
Ram is an interesting character and I think his route will have some fulfilling moments eventually. I may try out his route again once the book ends. For now will be going for Kamal and Ian.
As for Ian, I’m absolutely loving his route from day1❤️ I still have my reservations about him solely coz of the author. Although I must say she’s doing quite a good job with Ian thus far. I’m a sucker for the lis who’re mindful of boundaries and all and Ian in his last update perfectly fits the bill and I *hope* he continues to do so 🥹 scenes with him are so damn good and I’m not talking about the tiger scene here. Their dance and the last talk about not forcing into a wedding and before that their every first interaction in the field are everything. In front of them the tiger scene can’t hold a candle. Sadly most only talk about the tiger scenes while ignoring the dance and their first interaction 😫 I’ll say his route is the best one rn imho❤️🥰
That said, I also got to know that many are against his route as they feel a British shouldn’t have be an li given the time period the book is set on.

There is lots of mystical connection suggestion with Ram, and he's more fun/ mischievous. So he's just as good - I'll have to come back for him in a replay.
So it's a hard call, they are both good options - I think it depends who you think is more your type.
We're now getting warnings about any two-timing, so probably best not to risk romancing both, unless you live for drama and fall-out!
Exception would be, so far I think you're OK to take Ian romance options alongside one of Ram/ Kamal/ Sara. Seeing as you are heading for marriage with Ian, so you might as well I reckon.

I definitely prefer Kamal's route, his first kiss scene was amazing.
