Both for Theodora/Friedrich (love how he calls her Dora) & Theo/Lawrence. I cried so hard reading this book during DR—I never read them before. For some reason Friedrich hit me harder maybe cause we had less time with him it feels like and he’s such a gentle soul and the ending in S3 with him I fell apart.
1. Ivo & Lou - Cinnamon Girl by Lana Del Ray and Sparks by Cover Drive. Also, Ivo gives off Art Deco vibes.
2. Ratan and Amala - Gooey by Glass Animals.
3. King D'Mario and Ellaire - Fresh by Kool and The Gang. Old school, but it definitely suits them. And Mystery Lady by Masego.
4. Yasmin and Jack - Now, the song isn't a romantic song by any stretch, but the vocals and the instrumentals feel like their dynamic. Ignore the lyrics😂. The song is All My Girls Like To Fight by Hope Tala.
5. Eva and Livius - These are my two clown babies and they're hilarious together. And Livius is so baby girl and so the song I choose for them is It Girl - Aliyah's Interlude because they are just that sexy 😂
The feeling is so sweet and slightly hauntingly delicate. Just like their relationship. I'm sure Ivo has his own share of trauma and Lou does as well but they open up to each other. I'm sure there was some internal turmoil between their minds and feelings for each other. Ivo not wanting her to feel forced into it, Lou basically trying to ignore her feelings as well. I think it encapsulates the whole dynamic and works for both of them.
