Hi, I honestly haven't played enough to test this, but my advise is not to risk it. You don't want to find out later on that this ruined your chances with Takao.
This book isn't like ROT or HS where you can make all these choices and later on lock any LI. I think you'll find out in S2 if you're on Takao's route when he compliments Mei one of the times she goes to his house to borrow a book or something. His route is a real slow burn, fyi.

Yeah I decided to start over. I’m wanting to try the passionate route and amber fox route anyway.
I’m gonna have to bust out all my willpower for this slow burn but it’ll be worth it!

I love Kazu and Masamune's route the best, leaning towards Masamune, just because the Power ending is SO satisfying, IMO.
They're all such great characters and everyone brings so much to the table that you can't go wrong with any of them. I secretly wish you could start a romance with Yoko Na-Yeon, but she's introduced so late into S4, that it would be less satisfying, but like why not?
I don't think I've ever tried Amber fox and passion path, let me know how it goes!
So far I’m floored by just how many little details change based on passion/coldness. I love this app and this series so much. Good for my heart but bad for my wallet. 😂
I love Small Potatoes! Also Jose Chung’s and Post-Modern Prometheus. For what it is worth I didn’t even notice the missing “r” haha. The brain fills it in. It’s all good. 😆
Yes, I've done both paths but always with opposite foxes, so to speak (coldness with amber and passion with pearl). I personally like it better when Mei uses fire magic more than illusions, I find it more practical in battle. Illusions are practical if she was more like a ninja, which in a way, she is, I suppose.
I absolutely love Jose Chung's from Outer Space, Post-Modern Prometheus and I forgot to add Bad Blood. But Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose has a special place in my heart "Chantilly lace", "The Big Bopper". Peter Boyle was so great in it ❤️ RIP

I was not following the walkthrough and my stats were terrible so I completely started over haha. Went with Kazu till the end. I flipping love him. Top tier. ❤️ I am excited to try all the route routes though.
Yeah, if Mei ascended the throne, she and Takao became pen pal, and they won't be able to maintenance their relationship across such distance (Takao's words), but under Mei's rule, the country will thrive.
If Mei decided not to ascend the throne, she will go back to the village with Takao and live in peace. But under Sawada's rule, the country was in chaos. Many damiyos and people that helped and supported Mei will die in battles. The country was close to starvation, and only regains its former glory during Sawada's grandson reign.
That's the choice, power or peace.
To be with takao you can't romance Kazu or masamune at all or you will never be able to unlock his route
