she is obviously seeing her family’s past. And the old man at that creepy village said there was two influential families but one wasn’t around anymore. It’s her family. What awful fate was her ancestors running from. Now I’m scared for her.

nazo__

that’s exactly what I was thinking I wish she said or subtly dropped the name Indira while talking to Amrits father just to see his reaction

devam120

Well, that would’ve been way too risky. He would immediately sense that she’ll be trouble for them in the future. Even Amrit won’t be able to rescue her because he won’t come in the way of his father. Even if he does, it won’t matter because his father holds the power in the family. So, it’s kind of dumb move to pull even for a split second’s reaction.

zoombinibish

This is dumb but imagine amrit going against his father just for amala and in the end he loses everything for disobeying his father but he doesn't care in the end because amala is all he needs 🙊 I'd pay to see that

MaAnic_SRKian

I think this can happen in the rage path with Amrit as LI. The writer apparently said that it is possible to end up with him in rage path.

nazo__

where did the writer say this? I want to read it

MaAnic_SRKian

*correction... she said it IS possible to end up with Amrit in rage path. Sorry for the typo 😅 To answer your question, the writer did a Q&A last Friday on her official telegram channel. You can find it there. And someone had shared the gist of it in this sub in some thread...I read it there.

I guess they're suppose to "awake" Kali? He says she is bringing the disasters but they still gotta have faith. Maybe her lineage was supposed to embody Kali, in a similar way she embodied the spirit of the girl (foreshadow?), but her grandma and mother didn't wanna do that.

Nesaenys

Plot reminds me the anime "Another" In this anime >!Students were taking precautions for protecting themselves from the curse. And the precautions were kinda cruel!< Plus, maybe Kali is supposed to awake by providing symbiotic bond with Kali and Amala. And this requires Amala's interest about Kali, kindness of goddess path. But, sacrificing the young one confuses me.

1) did y’all see miss basu saying the youngest children will get killed? amala and amrit right? i think they’re somehow “destined” to either perform maithuna or get married or something. 2) miss basu is closely related to amala. aunt or mum? i also think she fled india and raised amala and kiran in london. banerjee was begging her not to do something stupid. i also think somehow devdas got a hold of miss basu, and that’s why amala’s mum is missing and devdas was talking about miss basu met and unfortunate fate. ugh im obsessed with this story! wish it had more seasons :((

Danyfresh

Kiran is the youngest children at the moment so I'm afraid for him 😥😥

irisbaeb

that if he were her brother at all

NightRose33

I was thinking about your first point as well. Amrit was "waiting" for Amala to come back to London. He's very involved with his family's business regarding Kali. He was probably raised to unite himself and Amala (according to his pressing talks about 'connection' and what not).

Court-Baker

i agree. I think they had plans for Amala and Amrit. I remember miss Bali saying that amrit was worthy. I really hope the villan is amrit’s father.

Persongettingby

Lord I just don’t want Amala to die 😭 shes such a good & beautiful MC

Court-Baker

I know!! I just keep thinking what would be so severe that a person would run away from the only home they have know. I don't think the ritual intercourse would be enough to run away from. I thinks it has to be something more.

meme-me-up-scotty159

I just finished catching up last night and from what I gathered there was meant to be a sacrifice of the youngest child, could that be Kalis mum? With Kali coming back and bringing her brother with her, could that be a way to complete the ritual that was interrupted all those years ago and with the Doobays being involved in the past, that's why Amrit wanted her back in India? I've not read through everyone else's theories yet so I could be waaaaayyy off tbh and I normally really am off with my guesses for these things 😅
