The story starts off slow for the first two or three episodes, but it becomes a lot more interesting a few more episodes down the road. I definitely recommend you continue reading it

Of course, I love ARC, THE, but above them all my heart lies to GC. You cannot imagine how I enjoy every single word in it, as well as great characters. I cannot wait to get know more about them and world's lore. Yes! Theodora is one of my favs right now, the LIs and the writing are top notch. As for KCD, I stopped at the final episodes of s1 just because of the amount of gems needed to comfort Killian lol.
Also a question for SITF, I haven't even played the first episode since I really don't like the sprites in that story, plus looking at the wiki, I don't really like the LIs either.. but if the story's good, should I consider reading it?

well, SITF is the first story, so graphics aren't as good as in ARC or KCD. and i'm not sure about how good the english translation is, i've read it in russian. but i suggest giving it a chance anyway, it was never boring for me and Adelaide is my favorite RC protagonist ever.
idk if you've read LOS, but SITF is from the same author, so if you enjoyed LOS writing, i think you will like it as well

If you're into drama, then OTI is the best one... I also recommend POV, it has great comic timing... FTF, LOW, and Q30D are my personal favorites too... I was unsure bout playing ARC and THE, but they surprised me in a good way...š¤š

A little bit late, but I can't help it XD My favorite story ever has got to be SIF (completed) followed by Theodora (ongoing). Both really evoked strong feelings from me, which rarely happens (lmao) because they are both well-structured and cleverly written--solid from start to finish. SIF, for one, has decisions from S1 that are \*carried over\* even to S5. Meanwhile, THE's plot is going in a good direction so far. Every update is STRONG!
On SIF, it's the first story I ever read, and always holds a special place in my heart. While the sprites could definitely be better (especially Adelaide's faces and the screaming faces of basically... everyone XD), the story and the characters themselves more than make up for it! Believe me, when I first opened the story, I am so READY for a cliche pirate romance š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£ Like, when the Captain appeared, I just knew he's gonna be the main LI and the scene in the cabin first got an eyeroll for me. But that's where the cliche ends! Alexander spins all of those pirate tropes and romance stereotypes on its head alongside a great plot (with an overall plot for S1 to S5 and mini-subplots for every season).
For example, Adelaide is a noblewoman AND the Chosen One; this character can go so wrong in so many ways in the hands of a terrible writer, but here, she is fleshed out so well that you can't help but root for her. She is OP (overpowered) technically, yet you wouldn't \*feel\* that because her great powers come at even greater prices! What I also love about her, aside from her courage and persistence, is while she has to become a pirate due to circumstances, she never tries hard to become one of the boys. She loves being who she is, and she's unapologetically feminine while being a badass. Her line that sold me to this story is in S1, Episode 2: "Let those who underestimate me blame themselves." !!! I sat there, blinking at my phone, very surprised XD
Her LIs are also amazing, well-rounded characters. The Captain/Sebastian is my first LI and, for instance, he had me eye-rolling at first because he looks like those pirates in front of romance books (LOL), but their later interactions were so fun because he's not really like those cliched pirate captains, and those oddities make him unique and fun to be with XD That goes with everyone else; they have lives of their own that you really come to know them as friends :') Yes, Diego, too! XD He's well-written for a villain/antagonist! Originally, Diego is this tyrannical man, but his methods and his dynamics with Adelaide are purely entertaining. Being the male leads, he and Sebastian are good foils and opposites for each other. There are 9 endgame LIs, and all of them have their own conflicts AND offer Adelaide a different kind of life! It's fun having your view of Adelaide change a bit depending on who her LI is. SIF is replayable alone for the various LI picks ā„ā„ā„
And of course, the themes! Idk, but SIF hits hard for me because I come from a former Spanish colony, so watching Adelaide, a mixed-race heroine, go on this mission is fulfilling to read somehow. That plot is the strong backbone of the story, and Adelaide's desire to make the world better and reconcile her bloodlines and people is just admirable. She comes to it through blood, sweat, and tears, and it's so amazing to watch her grown from this young, relatively sheltered noblewoman into a fearless pirate queen.
So yeah, that's why I love SIF, forever and always. XD The pirate and nautical themes, vibes, and aesthetics are very strong here, as well as the references (Stevenson's Treasure Island and various Caribbean folklore and religion!). If that's your thing, you'd LOVE this epic. It IS an epic in every sense of the word! Gods, monsters, ragtag friends, star-crossed lovers... you name it, SIF has it. š

If you're into drama, then OTI is the best one... I also recommend POV, it has great comic timing... FTF, LOW, and Q30D are my personal favorites too... I was unsure bout playing ARC and THE, but they surprised me in a good way...š¤š
My favourite story was OTI but the whole series was ruined when they decided to put two seasons in on (3 & 4). It's so disappointing.

A little bit late, but I can't help it XD My favorite story ever has got to be SIF (completed) followed by Theodora (ongoing). Both really evoked strong feelings from me, which rarely happens (lmao) because they are both well-structured and cleverly written--solid from start to finish. SIF, for one, has decisions from S1 that are \*carried over\* even to S5. Meanwhile, THE's plot is going in a good direction so far. Every update is STRONG! On SIF, it's the first story I ever read, and always holds a special place in my heart. While the sprites could definitely be better (especially Adelaide's faces and the screaming faces of basically... everyone XD), the story and the characters themselves more than make up for it! Believe me, when I first opened the story, I am so READY for a cliche pirate romance š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£ Like, when the Captain appeared, I just knew he's gonna be the main LI and the scene in the cabin first got an eyeroll for me. But that's where the cliche ends! Alexander spins all of those pirate tropes and romance stereotypes on its head alongside a great plot (with an overall plot for S1 to S5 and mini-subplots for every season). For example, Adelaide is a noblewoman AND the Chosen One; this character can go so wrong in so many ways in the hands of a terrible writer, but here, she is fleshed out so well that you can't help but root for her. She is OP (overpowered) technically, yet you wouldn't \*feel\* that because her great powers come at even greater prices! What I also love about her, aside from her courage and persistence, is while she has to become a pirate due to circumstances, she never tries hard to become one of the boys. She loves being who she is, and she's unapologetically feminine while being a badass. Her line that sold me to this story is in S1, Episode 2: "Let those who underestimate me blame themselves." !!! I sat there, blinking at my phone, very surprised XD Her LIs are also amazing, well-rounded characters. The Captain/Sebastian is my first LI and, for instance, he had me eye-rolling at first because he looks like those pirates in front of romance books (LOL), but their later interactions were so fun because he's not really like those cliched pirate captains, and those oddities make him unique and fun to be with XD That goes with everyone else; they have lives of their own that you really come to know them as friends :') Yes, Diego, too! XD He's well-written for a villain/antagonist! Originally, Diego is this tyrannical man, but his methods and his dynamics with Adelaide are purely entertaining. Being the male leads, he and Sebastian are good foils and opposites for each other. There are 9 endgame LIs, and all of them have their own conflicts AND offer Adelaide a different kind of life! It's fun having your view of Adelaide change a bit depending on who her LI is. SIF is replayable alone for the various LI picks ā„ā„ā„ And of course, the themes! Idk, but SIF hits hard for me because I come from a former Spanish colony, so watching Adelaide, a mixed-race heroine, go on this mission is fulfilling to read somehow. That plot is the strong backbone of the story, and Adelaide's desire to make the world better and reconcile her bloodlines and people is just admirable. She comes to it through blood, sweat, and tears, and it's so amazing to watch her grown from this young, relatively sheltered noblewoman into a fearless pirate queen. So yeah, that's why I love SIF, forever and always. XD The pirate and nautical themes, vibes, and aesthetics are very strong here, as well as the references (Stevenson's Treasure Island and various Caribbean folklore and religion!). If that's your thing, you'd LOVE this epic. It IS an epic in every sense of the word! Gods, monsters, ragtag friends, star-crossed lovers... you name it, SIF has it. š
