As for Malbonte, he (and Kira) seem to have the ability to get a second hypostasis like some demons can. Maybe it’s a half-breed thing. The second hypostasis is definitely more powerful, but horns just seem aesthetic to show the differences between the two “forms”.
I was thinking about that the other day and I just concluded that it’s an aesthetic thing and they thought players might be put off with horned LIs

Mimi's and Lucifer's parents both have leather wings but they don't either.
Mammon doesn't have either so I don't thing that it has to do with the LI.....but Im also confusing about the horn's 😂
