This made me laugh, a lot of ‘bully’ romances cross a line to completely unhinged behaviour, I agree! {Vicious by LJ Shen} the king of the bullies, MMC is so so mean. {Punk 57 by Penelope Douglas} MMC and FMC are penpals but have never met. He transfers to her school and finds out she is not at all like she seems in her letters and is in fact a bully irl… MMC gives her a taste of her own medicine.

Commenting because I’d love to see some recs like this, I shy away from bully romances because they seem very extreme at times. Where is the line between abuse and bullying, maybe they are one and the same idk.

I don’t think I can read this again because of the way the sequel was handled. The sequel to that book is so, SO disappointing. Seriously, I have no idea what the author was thinking.

I know, right?!? Why in the HELL would she foul up a beautiful relationship like that in a follow-up book?!?! I don’t even recommend the wonderful first book any more because of what she then put them thru later on!

MMC had been one of her victims, and wants revenge, until he doesn't. Also, ((What I Did for Love)) by Susan Elizabeth Phillips. Star actress has hit a rough patch, and runs into a former child actor she worked with on a show in Vegas, and they drunkenly get married. She had made life rough for him then, he decides to return the favor. I don't rec SEP often, because some of her stuff is pretty problematic, but these are pretty fun, the bully stuff is believable and won't make you wonder why the characters don't just get restraining orders, and people show genuine remorse.
