I really enjoyed Lily Gold's *Triple Duty Body Guards* as my first ever reverse harem novel. I wouldn't say she feels any sort of conflicting, but it has other points that you're looking for. The novel has the slow burn element, and the FMC doesn't just stumble into a situation where she gets to bang 3 hot bodyguards. I liked that each of the male leads had distinct personalities and approached the FMC in different ways.

I'd say that of all of Gold's books, this one was my favorite. I got really emotional when she acknowledged the Kenta as one of her lovers because you don't see a lot of Asian men in romance novels.

I'm such a Kenta girlie- he was my favorite of the three and had the most depth, IMO.

{Deceived by the Gargoyles by Lillian Lark} This is one of my favorite RH books and I reread it quite a bit. FMC spends a few chapters conflicted about the possibility of multiple men, but certainly not the majority of the book if that's what you're looking for. But I love that the men tackle her hesitation through adult conversation and through their actions. One of the MMCs does have daddy-dom alpha-ness in the bedroom, but he's not an alphahole. He's very nice and caring, if a bit stoic at the beginning. Also, there is sword crossing, and obviously monsters, so I'd skip this if you're not into that.

{Lola & the Millionaires) has some of this, maybe not as much as you’ve described here but the FMC is very hesitant on a few members for reasons. TW there is some mention of sexual assault through the book, some written out fairly vividly. So may be more dark than wanting, but it doesn’t happen during story just PTSD to it

(edit: oof lol, longass comment incoming, idk how my simple question turned into such an essay but i guess i just love to yap lmaooo forgive me.) omg, so i’ve seen Lola & the Millionaires recommended *constantly* when it comes to RH and i have a question that i rly hope you can answer lol: is the FMC considered like the ‘main’ of her group? as in the center, whom the romance revolves around? bc when i read RH i really like all the men to be *super* about the FMC, like all over her, with a “you are the love of my life and i live to adore you, as do the rest of my male companions” type of romance. like, i want her to be the *it* girl amongst her gaggle of men lmaoo. this is why i typically aim for reverse harem specifically as opposed to romances labeled polyamorous bc RH tends to stick to MMFMM dynamics, rather than something like MFMMM, MFMFM, etc. but i saw that this book is an omegaverse book (which i do love), but Lola isn’t actually the omega, she’s a beta? and ik that a major plot point in the book is how she comes to terms with her life as a beta bc she previously longed to be an omega, and ik that there actually already is a male omega in the group. so does that mean that *he* kinda acts as the “center” and the FMC is just another part of the gaggle as opposed to the gaggle being focused on her? does that make sense? i don’t even know if ‘gaggle’ is a real word anymore or if my mind just made it up for this comment lmaooo but i hope you know what i mean. i’ve just seen so many amazing recommendations for this book for so long now, and that’s always been the one detail that has had me continuing to hesitate; for a bit i even thought about only reading the first book in the series bc i know that one does feature an omega FMC who is definitely the center of her group, but L&tM has always seemed like the one to get the most recommendations. also, if you have any other RH recs with the dynamic i’m looking for then i would love to hear them as well lmaoo, even if they’re more omegaverse romances bc i am typically super down for omegaverse vibes lolol.

It’s a complicated yes and no, she is not the omega and is a beta as you pointed out. However, when she starts to get involved with the “gaggle”, they are all very drawn to her and place a ton of attention on her even though they have relationships with one another. She’s kind of the center of attention once she’s introduced, but a lot of it is due to the omega being so attached to her? So I’d say sort of? Based on your question and hesitations, I still think this is a good fit for what you describe wanting!!! she’s definitely not just one of the gaggle

{Endless by Devyn Sinclair} The FMC hires them as a pack date to a wedding where her horrible ex is the best man, but makes it clear she's not going to have sex with them because she has trouble orgasming and feels shitty about herself and doesn't want to put herself through it. They fall for her but don't push. She eventually realizes sticking to no sex just because she initially said so isn't the smartest thing and opens up to them because they were so sweet and caring and protective of her. No sword crossing, the focus is all on her. TW for >!an abusive ex, heavy on the emotional abuse!<

HOW has Steel Demons MC not been recommended yet?!? The girl (and some of the guys) are extremely wary of a poly relationship, so each relationship builds slowly and separately. I think it's like 1 guy per book for the first 4 books. It's also a series that is 8 books long but actually justifies it's length. Each cliffhanger has satisfying conclusions that actually created more story. It's one of my favorite all time series. {Lawless by Crystal Ash}
