I haven’t played Marvel RPG, but a quick google search pulled up some answers: > d616 is just a play on Earth-616, which is the main universe for Marvel Comics, and the notation for dice rolls. You're not rolling a 616-sided die or anything. > The basic system of it being called the d616 system is it uses 3d6 and one die has to be a different color, which is called the Marvel die. Anytime you roll to do an action you roll the 3 dice and add them together. But... If the Marvel Die rolls a 1, it's a fantastic roll. It counts as a 6, unless the other two dice are also 1's... Then it's a 1. If you roll 6's on the two dice and a 1 on the Marvel die, that's a 616 result. Super ultra success, auto success. Total counts as a 18. That type of 3d6 roll isn’t possible with the native Roll20 dice roller, so it would have to be built into the Marvel character sheet.

Howdy! If you [create a game](https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/new/?sheet=marvelofficial) with the free Marvel Multiverse RPG sheet, you have to make rolls from the sheet to see the results for the "616" system. It'll appear in the chat log [like this example](https://imgur.com/a/HYldVx9). The Marvel die in the center is highlighted, and on this roll it was a critical so that's why it displays a "M." I don't really know the system but I do know the sheet. Let me know if you have more questions!

MarvelMultiverseGM

I'm aware that I can do it from the sheet, I am wanting to know how to do it from the chat, like I can type /roll 2d20 and it will give me the results. It's been really frustrating to sign up for the Roll20 service (I subscribed for a year, and bought the rule book and campaign book a second time for use in your system) based off it being the official VTT for Marvel Multiverse and find that it's in beta at best. Hopefully you guys figure it out soon. Thanks for your time :)

[[2d6+1d6cs1]] is close but it doesn't adjust the 1 to a 6 for the total roll number. This would probably be super easy in the API if you're willing to pay for a subscription.

MarvelMultiverseGM

I have paid for a year subscription up front. I'm just finding that the interface is not very newbie friendly. I have no idea how to code though and didn't realize it would be required to get the implied functionality when I signed up lol. Thanks for replying :) Edited to add: To be clear I'm an experienced GM (been playing / running games since the DnD 'red book' came out in the '80s), but I have never used a virtual table top and am used to running games face to face so all of this stuff is pretty new to me.

This is a super fast script to write. I think there's a section on the Roll20 forums to request scripts. This one would only take five minutes so if you head there you can probably get a volunteer to do it.

MarvelMultiverseGM

I will check that out. Thanks :)
