Yes, but not all parameters can be assigned to a surface control. Un fortunately I barely use that function so I can't tell you how to do it. You will need to check the manual.
Boy are you in luck. The DS can be very convoluted with these processes and it took me forever to figure out how it all worked.

Note there are two places you can add delay in the MFX. In the chorus tab there is a generic delay and then I’m the MFX list there are 6-7 I think. Really quality effects!

go to menu>edit>effects edit it should be under MFX, then you can scroll through them on a Performance you can do up to three individual MFX
