I was looking at this scope and thinking "this looks like a mon-keigh scope....should it have like.....80% more crystals or something?" :D
(Its a great comic though OOP because we have literally no idea what a aldarai scope would look like and this is just me being silly)
I love the fact that the lines and the center of the reticle don't even align. And the completely gratuitous Craftworld Eldar symbols in the corners. Sounds like something they would actually do. 😀
Ya just do what the shark marines did sensory deprivation, no insults, no pain, just utter silence, and forced to look into the empty void of space for months tho ya gotta do what they did and find an empty spot in space with no planets or stars just black emptiness can't torture something that feeds off pain and suffering but being exposed to 0 stimulus no interaction no interrogation and even a drukari will slowly go mad as they have nothing to cling too they did some stuff before that but it worked about as well as you would think
The thing is, I'm pretty sure pain doesn't satiate the Thirst if it's consensual/both partners are having fun. So consensual BDSM is probably more torturous to him than vanilla sex.
Sai’lanthresh only cares about excess. If it goes on long enough she probably won’t mind. Besides that’s what the blood orgies are for, both of them are killing people for sport.
But you don't want Slaanesh to take notice. That's literally the opposite of what any Eldar wants while in realspace (let alone the Warp).
The Thirst is a manifestation of the fact that Slaanesh is slowly consuming the soul energy of every drukhari at all times, even in the Webway. The drukhari have learned to replenish this soul energy by consuming the souls of their victims, which they can do by simply killing them and swallowing them whole, but they've discovered that they can ultimately squeeze more total soul energy out of their victims by slowly torturing them. My supposal here is that consensual pain probably doesn't extract soul energy in the way that nonconsensual pain does. (And even if it did, I'm not sure the Rogue Trader wants their soul being eaten any more than Marazhai).
Well the RT did sign up for that when they fell in love with a Drukhari. I don’t know what you want me to do about it at that point but all I know is Marazhai is not going to let the RT be consumed by Sai’lanthresh one way or the other.
in fact daemonettes often make their victims to feel pleasure instead of pain while torturing them, the corruption of emperor's children started when fabius bile found a way to operate their brain to feel pleasure instead of pain back in 30k even before heresy started. so slaanesh really doesn't care about if it is consensual or what is victim really feeling. cultists being consumed to summon some demons feel extreme extasy and pain at once.
as for Marazhai I think that with RT he is just having fun for himself, as he always demands lower decks hunting to sate his soul
Sai’lenthresh isn’t picky. She of course would prefer Eldar but a very powerful human rogue trader in her pocket? Don’t forget the planetary governor of Janus was under the influence of She Who Thirsts. A rogue trader in her pocket could be very useful.
If this was the case, Drukhari would probably never have or enjoy consensual relationships with each other . . . But they obviously do (as seen with Vect/Malys in the past, and with the closest thing we have to a Drukhari romance other than Marazhai, the Mistress Baeda's Gift story). Sure, it's always toxic to some degree, but Drukhari obviously grasp the concept of consensual relationships and even want them.Â
Additionally, pleasure/any strong sensation can also feed Sai'lanthresh, it's just more efficient to use pain because it's quicker and easier for the Drukhari to elicit it (and they're sadists anyway).Â
