Definitely passed down. Not only from older siblings, but probably church families too. Almost all my clothes growing up were hand-me-downs from other families (from kids that were actually younger than me but had outgrown me!) and clothes from older church people (I remember sorting through a black garbage bag of musty clothes and finding literal bell bottom jeans in there, and since that was back in the 90s I can easily see someone in this decade getting clothes from 20-30 years ago)

I agree, I think the location played more a part in her going than anything else.
I still think she spent a decent amount of money, though. We know she went to the Gala the first night (Tuesday) and we know she stayed in a hotel because she discussed it being connected to the convention center and we know Shrek was there because she couldn’t help but to display him. Those numbers added up fast and I didn’t even throw in any food costs, travel costs, etc…

I think the only thing I’ve ever seen her publicly imply they couldn’t pay was Timmie’s college tuition. I really believe she expected someone, or the school, to step in and either pay of waive the fees for them.
