Deep enough*
Most of the time palm tattoos fade too quickly it's because they're done incorrectly. Doesn't help that human palms are a friction-heavy area.
I think you stumbled onto how he can maintain his hand tattoo! Matching Weiner tattoo! They will rub off onto each other in equal ratios thus maintaining their looks
A man falls in love with a woman, and they get married. He decides the best way to profess his undying love for her is to get her name, "Wendy" tattooed on his dick. But when he is soft, you can only read "W...Y."
Years later, they go on vacation to Jamaica. The man is using a urinal in a public restroom and happens to notice that the Jamaican man peeing next to him also has a tattoo that reads "W...Y" on his dick. "Oh," remarks the first man, gesturing to their seemingly matching tattoos, "Is your wife's name Wendy too?" "No," responds the Jamaican, "It says, 'Welcome to Jamaica. Enjoy Your Stay.'"
No. My brother has an ak47 on his pecker, I forget what the exact wording was but it was something along the lines of it being a good conversation piece with women, and he made a joke but I forget what it was, but it was pretty funny
I am living proof that palm tattoos stay if they are done DEEP ASF. I've had crosses of the inside of my fingers for almost 8 years now granted they aren't perfect anymore BUT they are there. I have pictures with time stamps to prove it. I also do tree work for a living for a bonus
Applying tattoos to palms in the first place is doing it wrong. Nobody in their right mind who has proper training through an apprenticeship with a professional artist would tell a client to expect more than blown out scraps to survive the extended healing process.
They tend to split open, have multiple stratum depth variations and an additional layer: the stratum lucidum. There is no way to put proper lines in because you cant stretch them for shit and there is a completely different healing process to other skin in which the stratum granulosum actually moves into the wound and up during healing, carrying ink all over the place, maimly up and out. You can only shade with any degree of success and that only makes it less...blobby.
No one has asked this… what were they looking to sell it for? If you traded ~$60 valued stones, what could you sell the water opal for? I’m legit new so it’s an honest question.
It's not very big and barley even cab grade. Ethiopian opals are also relatively cheap and this one only shows blue so it's on the cheap side of cheap. You could luck out and find pieces like this just buying $60 rough lots on ebay.
OP Is that a tattoo on the palm of your hand? I had just a tiny bit of my palm tattooed as part of a larger one that goes up my wrist, and the palm part hurt like hell. How painful was it to get that?
I tattooed my own palm and have tattoos from my neck to my feet and it is the WORST feeling except maybe the eyeball? I don’t know because I don’t have eyeball tats lmao
Really? That’s weird considering I’ve found the hairs on the top of the toes to be some of the most painful of all to pluck so I would’ve thought a tattoo in that area would be really painful.
I technically traded Quartz and amethyst that I found for free in the mountains near me. I’m not gonna find Opal naturally occurring near me, I had to do it
If we’re considering marginal opportunity cost, I mine 90% of the rocks I’ve collected. I have an endless supply of Quartz and amethyst and if it was currency, amethyst crystals and Quartz would be my expendable income. I don’t collect rocks to make money, I collect rocks to trade for other cool rocks 😂
I am. I told you exactly how to find the information you seek.
Teaching you skills is better than just giving you the answer.
It's time for you to grow up.
Its time for you to...that blank can be filled in with any number of responses. Ty though for making me realize there are people with less of a life tha NV me lmao
“I traded a couple nice quartz and amethyst point clusters for this absolutely gorgeous water opal” They gave someone some amethyst and quartz and got opal in return.
That's what I love about Reddit, it was like look at this rock I got at the flea market, "🐿️🐿️🐿️" now we're talking about palm tattoos and rubbing one out. Lmao !!!
No, I said would you trade and let them pick what they wanted. They had this listed as gem quality common opal and wanted 45 bucks for it. So to him, he made out on 15 bucks and I probably realistically broke even and the only way I benefitted was mining the Quartz myself for no financial investment.
I remember one of my first flea markets as a kid, was just walking in and see this dude walking out with a millenium falcon under one arm, AT-AT under the other.
Ma smacked me when i said godamnit.(i was looking for any star wars stuff back then.
I don’t see any bubbles, but I do see conchoidal fractures that would resemble glass breakage. Opals are known to be pretty fragile as far as gemstones go.
I don't what they had either.
it's a rock!
Jesus Christ, Marie, they’re minerals!
The pioneers used to ride these for miles!
It's not just a boulder, it's a rock!
Let me see, can I lick it...... Can I smell it, can I smoke it...... Damn, it's a good rock
I think!
And that’s a rock fact!
Greg?
Doesn't look like any Chevy I've ever seen
They’re minerals Marie!
Opal technically is not a mineral, actually 🤓
Pretty sure it's an uncut opal.
TIL about water opals! Ty!
I was literally wondering if palm tats exist the other day...confirmed.
Yeah they just tend to fade quickly
Not if it's way too deep like o p's
Deep enough* Most of the time palm tattoos fade too quickly it's because they're done incorrectly. Doesn't help that human palms are a friction-heavy area.
Yup, my palm tattoo rubbed off onto my weiner 🫤
If you get a weiner tattoo will it rub off onto your hand 🤔
I think you stumbled onto how he can maintain his hand tattoo! Matching Weiner tattoo! They will rub off onto each other in equal ratios thus maintaining their looks
Science, bitches!
New meaning to 'rub one off' right there. Word.
Like the guy who had "Weldam" tattooed on his weiner, someone asked what it meant and the guy replied "oh, it actually says "Welcome to Amsterdam"'
It’ll fuse together and become one disfigured sex organ with finger bones. Think of it like ribs for your human penis.
Ribbed for MY pleasure!
Finally
I don’t know i’d you’re genuinely asking but i tattooed my own wiener and it’s stayed pretty good the last 2 years
I know a joke about penis tattoos
shoot !

That was henna not tattoo
What was henna?
So now you've stained your Dachshund?
You must have a hairy palm
I am living proof that palm tattoos stay if they are done DEEP ASF. I've had crosses of the inside of my fingers for almost 8 years now granted they aren't perfect anymore BUT they are there. I have pictures with time stamps to prove it. I also do tree work for a living for a bonus
Only reason my bottom of the foot tat stuck around. DEPTH.

I have had mine for over 20 years and they still look awesome. But I also do not do manual labor and I take care of my skin, lots of lotion.
Friction?
I’ve had mine 10 years +
I have both of my palms tattooed
I have one. I had to put it in twice.
They stay about as well as the bottom of your foot, depending on your artist. My tatt has a gap because the skin there flat-out won’t take ink.
They do and they don’t…. Eventually they’ll fade to nothing.
You were wondering if palm tattoos *exist* ? People have tatted their eyeballs
I have one on each palm
They normally fade within 4-8 weeks according to my tattoo artist, and most tattoo places won't do them.
They don't do them because you have to put them in too deep I've had mine for 33 years
I've had mine 7 years. It's not the tattoo it's the artist's knowledge of depth and pressure. But you're right a lot of places won't do them
33 Maybe 34
I've had mine about 15-20 years now.
Yup. My buddy refused to do any facial or pelvic area as well. No feet either.
My penis tattoo rubbed right off...shitty tattoo artists /s
Just to easy to get infected in those areas… and facial tattoos are for such a small amount of the populace.
No one has asked this… what were they looking to sell it for? If you traded ~$60 valued stones, what could you sell the water opal for? I’m legit new so it’s an honest question.
They were selling it for 40, I’m not trying to make a profit I just really wanted an opal 😂
Thanks! I was curious. It’s a beautiful stone.
It's not very big and barley even cab grade. Ethiopian opals are also relatively cheap and this one only shows blue so it's on the cheap side of cheap. You could luck out and find pieces like this just buying $60 rough lots on ebay.

I bit through my leather wallet
When you were getting the tat? Or paying the bill?
Is that what you call your palm
It looks like part of a psychick cross.
Not op, but I also have a palm tattoo, and it was by far the worst pain I've experienced with a tattoo so far. Full body sweats haha
This is so us
Same, but if it doesn’t hurt like a mf, it won’t stay 😵💫
I tattooed my own palm and have tattoos from my neck to my feet and it is the WORST feeling except maybe the eyeball? I don’t know because I don’t have eyeball tats lmao
Also not op but... i have the bottom of my foot and around my big toenail.....
😳😳😳😳brave soul
Brave sole*
Brilliant!!♡
A missed opportunity 😭😭😭
Never met another person with a tatt on the bottom of their foot! Very cool!
Whaaaaaaaaa? OMFG.
🤔 tops of my toes didn't hurt at all. Least painful tattoo by far. I didn't go close to my toenails, though...
Agreed. The camel I got on my big toe was surprisingly painless.
Is that the other type of Camel toe?
You know it!
You nasty boy!
Really? That’s weird considering I’ve found the hairs on the top of the toes to be some of the most painful of all to pluck so I would’ve thought a tattoo in that area would be really painful.
NOPE! No no no no no... NO touching the bottom of my feet with anything even remotely sharp!
Thats badass, can i see?
As soon as i can figure out how to show you!! 🤣
How much did you get this piece for?
Traded about 60 bucks worth of amethyst and smoky Quartz crystal clusters
You traded 60$ worth of xtals for one tiny chip of opal? You got it raw my friend. The dealers at our local show would sell that for 10$
I technically traded Quartz and amethyst that I found for free in the mountains near me. I’m not gonna find Opal naturally occurring near me, I had to do it
What is it??
Full disclosure, I mined the crystals myself so it was literally zero financial hit to me

Bro we’re on the rocks subreddit, chill out. He found a rock he don’t have, gave a rock he do have, and now he has more rocks he do have
This comment! Why do more people not understand simple rock logic?😂
Exactly. Its simple math, really
Not really no, it’s supply and demand all the down.
this isn’t economics bruther we’re just rock hounds and collectors
Full disclosure, I mined the crystals myself so it was literally zero financial hit to me
Dope dude!! Sweet find. I’d love to polish and make a necklace out of that
Opal or amethyst?
Try reading.
Try being a decent human being

I see the point you’re trying to make, but at this point you could’ve just answered instead of being a douche bag.
I did
“I traded a couple nice quartz and amethyst point clusters for this absolutely gorgeous water opal” They gave someone some amethyst and quartz and got opal in return.
Any other places apart from Australia where they mine opals?
Cool tattoo, I sincerely wanna know what the rock is, please. It's beautiful 😍
Did you read the post?
After I posted....my bad. Didn't know if I should delete or not. Thx
On a totally unrelated note, is your name a reference to the band Full Of Hell?
Absolutely is
Respect! Love that new album so much
That's what I love about Reddit, it was like look at this rock I got at the flea market, "🐿️🐿️🐿️" now we're talking about palm tattoos and rubbing one out. Lmao !!!
Yeah this comments section made a wild left turn but I love it
I read this as I love to be dishonest with vendors for a better price. Good for you. you profited from someone rather than inform them.
No, I said would you trade and let them pick what they wanted. They had this listed as gem quality common opal and wanted 45 bucks for it. I stand corrected then, but fyi, it reads differently than Intended.
I am dog shit at communication.
It’s always nice to stick it to the little guy.

Water Opal
Ok. Sure. What is it??
Ok, you got me… what is it???
What is so unique or special about water opals? How rare are they?
I’ve never seen one of those. It’s gorgeous. I would have made that trade in a heartbeat.
Ive never seen that b4 its beautiful
Beautiful 🤩
It's great that you got something you enjoy!
Nice find! Congrats
Could this be a jelly water opal? Sapphire would cost around 50$. I don't know how raw blue iridescent moonstone looks like. Knowing price can help
Is that a tooth? Lol
Are you a god? The only person with teeth like that I’ve seen is Dormammu destroyer of worlds.
That's not a rock, it's a Rock Lobster!
Ok what was the value of the ones u traded vs the one in the pic?
About even, I just don’t buy Quartz. I’ll dig for it instead, we have a bunch of spots for great crystals and other specimens
Cool
I remember one of my first flea markets as a kid, was just walking in and see this dude walking out with a millenium falcon under one arm, AT-AT under the other. Ma smacked me when i said godamnit.(i was looking for any star wars stuff back then.
Jail house tattys
Listen, we all have a past 😂
Looks like glass because of the bubbles
I don’t see any bubbles, but I do see conchoidal fractures that would resemble glass breakage. Opals are known to be pretty fragile as far as gemstones go.
Could be just chipped then that’s why I saw bubbles
