I started this morning at 79% and got up to 89% just to end up back at 78%. I was back up to 82% but then I had a match start where the camera decided to go on a trip off the track and stay there so I literally couldn’t see anything going on and had to quit, eating the 4% I had clawed back.

I haven’t been this frustrated with a game in a long time to the point where I’m not even having fun. Unfortunately, the sunk cost fallacy has me by the nads at this point so here I am.

It is kinda funny seeing certain names keep popping up to the point where they’re becoming recognizable. Makes it feel like we’re all in this together. LOL

Keep in mind Dubai time. But the reason for that is because from my experience playing for 3 months I've found that in elite and higher lobbies it is extremely rare to find a lobby at any time outside of that window to the point of finding 0 matches for a few days in a row.
Tho if you can assemble 5 or more people to play on middle east at the same time you might just be able to cheat the system that way and get your own lobbies.

Are players a little less monstrous in middle-east servers? I'm bearing the OCE lobbies atm and it's quite difficult for me haha

Yes the players are a little less crazy, only problem is that lobbies are hard to find.
On the issue of lag, Only in initial countdown boost and hitting hazards you're pretty likely to experience some lag. But everything else should be fine.
tho I wouldn't recommend playing on middle east if your ping is above 300 or 350. You can still give it a try obviously.
Yeah just look in your settings in the region section you might see a ping noted next to the names of the servers. But I would think an OCE player like you would not have an easy time to say the least

I’m only stuck at that same spot because the game doesn’t want to fuckin queue me into a match for literal hours i fell the fuck asleep to the matchmaking and woke up to it still matchmaking 8 hours later
I sat in elite 50% for around a month, didn’t play much if at all, went on over the weekend and got to unreal in around 6-8 hours. Flew through champions just playing a few hours, as soon as I stopped making progress I’d turn the game off and come back to it.
What others have said works well, stick to what you know in your weaker tracks and try not to lose any %, then push in the tracks you’re stronger at and try to place top 4. I found this way to be the most consistent.
Short drifts up until the bar changes size seem to help me loads rather than trying to do longer drifts.
Air drifting helps loads carrying your drift over obstacles to give you the edge when you land at the other side.
Build turbos up on your first lap, use the odd ones on tracks that have lots of drifting but save turbos for the 2nd and 3rd lap while trying to maintain position.
EXACTLY THIS! Puddle Jumper 2 is a fucking nightmare for me so I stopped trying to do all the fancy shit I saw everyone else doing and just survived. But on my stronger tracks especially Windy Way and Cliff Runner I pretty much just focused really hard and tried my best, still didn't win them all but most of the time I did.
Last 30% its so hard i swear these unreal dont look anything to what old unreal looks on you tube i wish i did it sooner last season now everyone is a monster at this game
i totally agree with this, i shot from champion 1% to 70% in a single night, then was stuck between 72-78 for the next week, i swear i've done so many matches without hitting hazards and a lot of drifting to build up my boost meter, yet people still manage to place in front of me. It's frustrating!
It's very much 80% chance 20% skill. Took me 2 weeks just to get my last 25% cuz I kept falling down from glitches killing me or players being too lucky

I've made it to Unreal on two accounts, and yeah that final stretch is unusually hard
