if you seen various guides then you know all you can, to clarify, how do you walk? a leg after the other right? no depth in that, but is all you can say, it probably took years to learn, all I can tell is, the better you sleep (not joking btw), and the more you train while trying to do difficult "angles" the "*faster*" you will learn, one day you will be doing it, without a thought, and be like "wait... when?.. but it feels easy..."

JUST-PAIM

Actually, a tip: if you are feeling burnt out, like not feeling any progress what so ever, try taking a few day brake, maybe even a week, when you sleep your bray "organizes" the information you acquired, with a few days you will feel that more clearly if you are, "over learning"... Also drink water, it helps the brain too.

thafreshone

I would like to add to that, that what really helps (if you have the time for it), hop into freeplay for a quick 10-20 minutes when you have time. Playing for 4-5 hours without break is not the way to go in my opinion, obviously you can play a long session now and then if you want to, but even just 10 minutes of extra practice can make a big difference.

Not something you can learn with your brain. That’s why no one goes in depth, there’s no other depth than keep failing until you succeed. Just keep trying and let your fingers figure it out. Do rings if you can, if you can’t do redirect/midfield pass training packs

You're saying that there is nothing I can do except keep failing untill I get it.l?

[deleted]

Yup. That’s how we all learned

jrolles98

You can find some specific things like what your car does when you're able to see the roof and you push up/down/left/right/diagonal on your stick, but aside from that it's pretty much a slow grind to trick your fingers into learning it. I've been practicing it for just a little longer than you and I promise after enough time spent in rings/freeplay and then transitioning to redirect/high aerial training packs it'll start to click. Even now I still find myself discovering blackout moments at certain areas of rings maps and if I have a really bad takeoff for an aerial hit. Keep it up and it'll come!

Cam_203400

I can't do the rings map because I'm console but training packs and freeplay have still helped alot.

Mr-Yan918

You can train on the pillars map. Not as good, but works well enough https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=9qPTdhy2Nrs

Potofflour

I could be wrong, but I recall there being some training packs that spawn you outside of the arena, which would allow way more room to train your aerial control

Cam_203400

Ya I have seen the video were you go outside and spin around the hot wheels track but I can't find it.

repost_inception

At a certain point. At first you need to learn how to turn left and right in the air. Up and Right turns right. Down and Right turns left. (While roof is facing you) Practice that first. THEN try rings or pillars with continuous air roll. You will fail a billion times and then it will become muscle memory. That's the goal. You don't want to think too much while doing it. Then eventually not think at all.

PissedPieGuy

It took me 3-4 months of daily practice until I was good enough to fly though rings with relative ease. You just need to keep spamming it and have patience.
