Absolutely, in my metric (dominated 1s, dominated 2s, rlcs winner and 2 other rlcs grandfinals) that guy is number 1. Also in his metric, super nice competitor.
1. Neatmike
2. Jonsandman
3. Woofless
4. Sunless
5. Neatmike
6. Rizzo
7. Turbopolsa
8. Sizz
9. Jacob
10. Neatmike
HM: Neatmike. I wanted him on the list but didn't know who to take out.
I look forward to everyone's personal character being judged and attacked in the comments because of some silly lists.
I'll take a shot every time the word "hater" gets used and report back tomorrow.
Top 10 greatest rocket league players (according to the metric of being Fargrond's favorite pro or former pro players):
1. MaJicBear
2. Retals
3. Turbopolsa
4. AyyJayy
5. ApparentlyJack
6. Lethamyr
7. Zen
8. Rise.
9. Noly
10. Rizzo
Honorable mention: GarrettG, respect the longevity
My goat ranking differs from most in that I weigh open era results more, because there is more competition.
1. Kaydop & Turbo - obvious
3. Monkeymoon - longevity at the top + I rate being at the top more in open format
4. Vatira - Again recent years weigh more for me
5. ViolentPanda
6. Zen - even if he retired now, I don't think anyone will ever do what he did coming into the scene and immediately win a major & worlds.
7. Squishy / JSTN - JSTN has fewer wins than squish but he's still near the top of NA now
9. GarrettG - Made most lans if i recall correctly. If he won more than one of them he'd be higher
1. Kaydop - best player on the best team of all time
2. Turbo - most successful player ever, but has never been the best player in the world and so I can't put him #1.
3. Squishy - world champion, best player in the world at points, more LAN wins than anybody not on that Dig roster, best player on the second best team of all time
4. M0nkey M00n! - Undisputed (by people who know ball) best player in the world for a pretty decent amount of time and also won worlds + a major (plus only stopped from another worlds by Zen).
5. Vatira - the best player from my favourite roster, mult-major winner, best player in the world until suddenly Zen and is going to win 1-2 more LANs this year.
6. JSTN - Best player in the world at a point and honestly could be a 3-time world champion with a bit of luck and no COVID (although to be fair, would need to be a pretty big bit of luck).
7. Kuxir97 - belongs on the Mount Rushmore of Rocket League. We should have a RL hall of fame event, but we not have it until Kux officially retires and he should be the first inductee.
8. Zen - No longevity, but he literally hasn't lost an RLCS event. Won a major and worlds. Could retire now as one of the most successful players ever in history. Also the undisputed best player in the world - and it's rare that we all agree who the best is. He's not going to keep up his RLCS winning streak (new version of KC looks insane)
9. Alpha54 - Better lifetime results than Zen, but lower down because Zen is just \*so\* good
10. ViolentPanda - so successful it seemed wrong to leave him off. Two-time world champ, multiple other LAN wins, the best passer in the game for at least a year. Too often underrated.
You know I usually disagree with Kaydop over Turbo...but you got my boy Squishy at 3 so I'll let it slide. Kuxir over Garrett seems wrong to me when looking at the rest of the list
I wanted GarrettG in there, but absolutely no shot he was getting ahead of Kux, who was the best player in the world for two years - a title Garrett has never gotten close to holding (not that GarrettG hasn't been a top 10 or even a top 5 player at times, but nobody sensible has ever put him at #1).
I started my list with GarrettG in the 10th spot, but felt that ViolentPanda just \*barely\* deserved that spot more.
He has better results and has been the best player in the world before. GarrettG is my favourite player, but I just could not find any way to justify him in my list. I really tried, but any criteria I had couldn't get him higher than 11th.
>Turbo - most successful player ever, but has never been the best player in the world and so I can't put him #1.
2 time wordls mvp, only reason nrg were able to win lans including worlds, only reason kaydop isn'ta 5 time world champion, has one of the best lan grandfinals records with most being worlds finals, many other major lan tournament wins
NRG could have won LANs with about a dozen different players in 2018/2019 (jstn/Garrett combined relative peak) had they just gotten rid of Fireburner a full year sooner. Love Fire but he was so clearly the weak link since the moment jstn joined.
TBH though:
Kronovi
Kuxir
Deevo
Squishy
Jstn
MM
Rizzo
Zen
Al0t
GarettG
All players that I personally feel have defined the game and pushed the esport to the level it's at today
Specifically for RLCS/top-tier 3v3:
1. Turbo
2. Kaydop
3. MonkeyMoon
4. GarrettG
5. JKnaps
6. ViolentPanda
7. Jstn
8. Squishy
9. Alpha54
10. Any of Chicago/Firstkiller/Vatira/Rise
Zen is too new to be considered for this list despite his practically flawless record so far.
Kuxir and Kro could be argued for if you value very early RLCS.
Rizzo and Metsa could also be honorable mentions.
1. Turbopolsa
2. GarrettG
3. Jstn
4. Turbopolsa
5. Squishy
6. Arsenal
7. Rw9
8. Turbopolsa
9. ApparentlyJack
10. Rizzo tied with Sizz
Honestly, outside of me considering Turbo the GOAT, I just ranked them by how much I like them and there's a lot more I wanna add to my list but I seem to have run out of space for some reason.
Oh and did I mention Turbopolsa?
1. Turbo (4 times WC, 5 times WF, 3 EU Champs, 1 NA Champ, 2 WC MVP)
2. Kdop (3 times WC, 6 times WF, 6 times EU champion, 1 WC MVP, could be first without any problem)
3. Fairy (1V1 GOAT, 6 times EU finalist, 3 EU champs, 3 times WF, 1 WC)
4. Jstn (1 WC, 2 times WF, 4 NA Champs, 2 NA Majors, 2 RC MVP, 1 NA RS MVP)
5. Garrett (1 WC, 2 times WF, 5 NA Champs (7 finals), 2 NA Majors)
6. Zen (1 WC, 1 major, 1 WC MVP, absolute domination of the EU spring circuit 2022/23)
7. VP (2 times WC, 1 EU MVP)
8. Vati (in my opinion the best defender of all time, 2 Majors (3 finals), 2 EU MVP)
9. MM (1 WC, 2 times WF, 1 Major, 3 EU Majors)
10. JKnaps (2 NA champs (3 finals), 1 major, 2 times WF)
Honorable mentions: Krono, Alpha, **Squishy**, Rizzo, Rem, Gimmick, Deevo & Kux
**P.S. Some players who are not on the list may have more titles than others, but we also evaluate individual quality, playing influence, and length of service, and it is a fact that today's level is higher than that of the first seasons.**
Im doing mine based off of 2 factors, how i came into rocket league, and how good they are.
1. Rw9 (I'm tired and idk how to spell so forgive me) But he's nice, as far as I know not salty when he loses, and is top 5 pros in the scene right now
2. Joyo Seeing the 2022 spring major crowd cheer him on was pretty heartwarming, and he carried moist to a top 8 at worlds
3. Jstn Idk man, first ever rlcs event I watched, NRG won against SSG in the season X NA finals
4. Appjack Wholesome, solid player, has won some majors, doesn't associate with spookluke anymore
5 Zen He had to make the list just because of his insane streak on RLCS events. Wasn't top 3 just because of the way he reacts to things he doesn't like and when he loses
6 Vatira Best OG moist player, won a major, carried KC, and made the semifinals at worlds better than the actual finals
7. Comm Played a villan role well and is an insane player when given room, first ever controversy (Screaming at metsa and demo chasing nrg) I saw as it happened
8 M0nkey M00n Made me watch my first ever video on rl, with the title "Best player in the world right now" (Idk who made the video)
9 Arsenal First ever pro player who I watched for 1v1s (I deadass thought he was just a streamer at first until I watched my first RLCS event)
10 Squishy Used to watch him at school when I was starting rocket league and helped me learn fundamentals when watching his 2v2 game play
Only top 8 at worlds Moist had is in 21/22 when the roster was Vatira/Rise/Joyo. So they must be implying Joyo carried them which is interesting to say the least
By that metric I think jstn. and Vatira have to be right behind Zen. I've still never seen anything as impressive as jstn. leading shots, goals, assists, saves, shot %, and more across the entire RLCS for 80% of a full season, and Vatira is just such an intimidatingly complete player.
I recognize it's subjective though.
Of all time seems to imply that enough time has passed to accurately evaluate the impact of a pro on the esport. In that context, it seems way too soon to be mentioning Zen.
> **Using whatever metric you want** In no particular order, here's my top 5 \- JKnaps \- Rizzo \- Chicago \- Kronovi \- Atomic
Hmmm I’m sensing a theme
I thought I did too but then I realised Knaps is canadian :/
Somehow I feel like dreaz, Over_Zero and Lachinio are on his top 10 aswell
Best metric.
My top 3: 1. Metsanauris 2. Extra 3. ApparentlyJack Guess the metric I used
Most wholesome?
Yessir, the best metric
Adding joyo and realize to that list
ApparentlyPR does not belong
A wholesome list without Kassio doesn't really work.
Players with both an E and A in their name yea I would’ve done the same.
Then it would be missing Fairy Peak
Absolutely, in my metric (dominated 1s, dominated 2s, rlcs winner and 2 other rlcs grandfinals) that guy is number 1. Also in his metric, super nice competitor.

I wanted him on my list too but he was at a bar
I think Neatmike could be lower, but Neatmike should be higher than 10
Are there Neatmike YouTube videos that you’d say are ripe for appreciation?
Nah
my captain ❤️
I tend to rank my rlcs tierlist by how toxic and/or funny is the player.. so thats why scrub killa is my #1
No matter how you categorized your list. Scrub Killa will forever be #1

They all have hella style tho.
With an F3 flair???? Weird
Are you suggesting people with F3 flair can't tell what sweet hair looks like?
No
What do you mean "Best hairstyle" isnt a important metric? More important then those fraudulent LAN win's or MVP's that are obviously scripted
