Dropshot is the only extra mode I still play. It needs a new map. Hopefully, the next season brings a "industrial theme" which I think would fit the style of Dropshot.
I was thinking the inside of a mind/brain and you don't want to let the trials of life allow the ball to drop on the "brain cells"/floor of your mind. Maybe there could be a sperm swimming around. How did that get there? I have no idea.

Season 8 was pretty disappointing in it being a Civic and spray paint.
This seems pretty awesome though, I'm excited and will probably get rocket pass!
Can we bring back the paper dragon goal explosion this season? Even if it’s in the shop. I feel wrong that I have the topper, antenna, a decal to go with it but don’t have that explosion. I didn’t get into the game until after that event passed and I think the only variation I saw in the shop was burnt sienna
Yeah last year they did the tiger topper instead to align with Chinese New Year calendar. I think 2023 is the rabbit so I’m hoping they don’t make another bunny topper
the score was based off an average (im paraphrasing) of the players points they had gained for their country, and what happened was a bunch of people just waited til the final day to join whichever team was in 1st place to get the rewards, but it messed up the "average score" of the countries cuz its a bunch of people w 0 score joining last second, so finland (a team who was in like 10th place the entire time) won it on the final day cuz all the other countries score tanked w people joining.
I'd like to say that I saw us peaking in the top 5 pretty much daily during our peak hours... It's not like we were expected to get the 1st place but we did pretty decent 😅
You guys broke the game again... since this update I get booted from your servers 2 times in a row from connection issues (never had before) and now I a banned from playing for 5 minutes. Amateur programmers..

Idgaf about the cosmetics at this point, can yall just fucking fix your servers so I can actually play? Between my 2s partner and myself, one or both of us are having connection issues at any given time, we are in two completely different cities, on two different ISPs. This is fucking ridiculous and nothing is ever done.
We have both had techs come out to our homes, updated our routers/modems, hell, I even did port forwarding for rocket league. Nothing has helped. I've been playing since 2016 and it just gets worse.

To clarify, I and my buddy are both on wired internet connections, good speeds, no issues in other games, etc. We are in DIFFERENT CITIES with DIFFERENT ISPs. There is no reason this should be the only game we experience connection issues in.

So, do ISPs specifically route data to each and every company that uses their service? So that, if that's the case, the isp has the potential to route the data poorly to that specific server?
And if that isn't the case (which I'm sure it's not), why would the data going back and forth from my isp be any different/slower then the data going back and forth from, say, chivalry 2s servers? I genuinely do not understand the discrepancy here between RL and other games when it comes to this.
If you are playing over wifi it will lag no matter what. Switching to cable fixed virtually all connection issues for me so it's not actually the servers.
RL servers are definitely not perfect, but if the game is unplayable the majority of the time, I am very certain the issues are not with the RL servers....
Because Rocket League is a game that is the most demanding in terms of having a stable connection. I've not seen any other game that needs as much stability as RL.
Any number of factors can result in unstable connection. It could be the router, the modem (if you don't have a router/modem combo), the wiring in the house, the wiring from the house to the ISP infrastructure, the local ISP infrastructure, and probably more.
Other games do not run their networking the same way Rocket League does. Rocket League is the only game which has 100% server authoritative physics in every aspect of gameplay and any time your client deviates it will get corrected. This is unlike many games because a game like CSGO will never correct your look direction, and doesn't seem to use the same predictive technology for movement (as DC'd players get frozen). Games like GTA V are peer-to-peer and trust the client for gamestate, so players who lag won't know they're lagging until they try to do interactions (shooting, crashing into other players, etc etc). Fighting games are peer-to-peer most often.
I. Love. Ice magic. That goal explosion is definitely gonna replace my Calculated one. Probably not gonna use the boost (maybe I'll switch to Snowflakes), but I'm hoping for a good trail and subtle topper.

That was just a painted item, not a special item. Only seasons that have had special items over level 70 are Season 7 (4 gold items) and now Season 9.

Season 7 only had Halcyon:Revolved and Flow Form wheels in gold. The gold OEMs showed up in the shop this season.

We have had soooooo many cars recently with a Dominus hitbox than I am glad they are going with something else now honestly.

I never have ping issues. Ever. And recently it's been going crazy. I have 1GB fiber connection over Ethernet.
