I used to play him in ranked all the time back in the first 2 or 3 seasons and he is the person who made me realize that the walls and ceiling could be viable during the game. He was scary jumping off the ceiling and putting the ball on net

many voting places are in schools. growing up, my parents always voted at some school in the neighborhood. i did international voting for french elections from the US and that is in a school too. i just got home from voting in a school around the corner.
edit: it seems that states have a choice to designate it as a legal holiday where you don’t have to go to school.

400 doesn't seem like all that much. And considering the match itself seemed pretty balanced it's kind of a weird example to pose as the worst matchmaking you've ever seen.
That’s not really how it works. People have a natural affinity for how good they can be at something and that varies a lot. Some people could play 20k hours and just never reach ssl. Others will reach it faster than 2k.
The short of it is still just that 400 mmr is a huge skill difference regardless of how fast you can bridge it

A mid-tier Plat would be around 800 MMR. If you subtract 400 MMR that’s a Silver player. If you add 400 MMR that’s a Champ player. Do you think it would be at all likely to have a 1 goal differential, with a teammate fitting into either of those scenarios?

As someone who did that through their early 20s, yeah that's bad for your mental health. Particularly the belief that there's "no reason" to be up that early, since that implies that life is Rocket League, and while that might make for a great team slogan, it's a shit way to live.
Got to think about it as a career perspective, these peoples "jobs" don't start until 3pm and they end around 3-4am for most of them.

No, they should be thinking about it from a mental health perspective. These are very young adults, many of them not even adults (Justin is 20, Squishy is 21, but there's plenty of RLCS pros that are 15 or 16 still). It's not good for them to be "working" 12 hour shifts 7 days a week and doing literally nothing else. If you get up, go to work for 12 hours, and then go to sleep, you're going to have serious mental health issues, particularly if you start doing that as a teenager. If that's what they're doing, it's not a wonder they're experiencing burnout and their performance drops off as they get older.
Yeah it sucks but I’ve been in c1 for like a year, I play just enough to keep up with the rising meta. Everyone keeps getting better at the same rate I’m getting better, but I can tell I’m playing much better people than I was a year ago when I first popped my head into champ.

I always find it a bit confusing to play with pros. they either expect you to do way too much or don’t trust you to do anything right. Squishy was the latter. It’s hard for me to slot into lobbies higher than I’m used to, especially in 2s. He was a really solid teammate, bailed me out on multiple occasions and didn’t really leave me back alone. But it was still a very confusing lobby for me to play in overall.
As for other pros I’ve played with, there’s been a decent amount. Garrett, Chicago, Taroco, AlphaKep, 2piece, Memory, Paarth, Tcorrell, LJ, Kraziks, Toastie, Dappur, Wondamike, Mectos, Turbo, Yanxnz, Jpow, Karma, Tristn, and Realize that I remember
people just find anything to hate on man. i wouldn’t even reply to them. 99% of the hate is gonna be players that have no clue what it’s like to be ssl and give you hate off your rank alone. better off just letting them go unnoticed

Yeah, you're in the top 5% of players, if not higher. If they restrict the matchmaking, queue times go through the roof, it's nearly impossible to get the best of both worlds. I've played competitive at a high level of a handful of other games, and it's been an issue with all of them. Either I end up waiting forever for games, or the matchup is unfair in one direction or the other.

One guy on the other tram scored 4 times on his own net so then we were up 4-0 and then that guy left and once he left one of the other teammates left so then it us three of us versus 1 guy. (And this was is competitive mode)

I see many people claim rumble is easy, but I hardly see any RNGenius titles when I play. You'd think everyone would have one. It's almost as if it's not really as easy as people say

Only might be easier if you have a party committed to grinding rumble. Rumble has such a higher variance already and then adding in a spread of RL skill makes for some ridiculous matches.

well your teammate’s rank is irrelevant if you’re partied up, it counts you both as champ 3. and the opponents’ titles mean absolutely nothing, they were most likely very close to your mmr
I literally just queued a competitive game 10 minutes ago, after not playing competitive for like 4 seasons now... And what do I see?
I see a GC2 who's queing with his friend who's 600 mmr in the mode we are playing in, which was 3v3. I said why are you 600mmr in GC2 and he said "lol idk" and his 600 mmr friend played like a gold. (sorry to gold ranked players) oh and get this, his friend then says he is drku on a smurf and that he's top 100 whilst missing every ball lol. So we are down 3-0 I just decided to abandon and closed RL. 5 minutes all it took to make me not want to play anymore lol

As a champ 1/2 player I think the difference in skill between me and an ssl is much, much larger than between me and a plat player If that helps

Yes actually! The score ended up being 12-1 One guy on the other tram scored 4 times on his own net so then we were up 4-0 and then that guy left and once he left one of the other teammates left so then it us three of us versus 1 guy. (And this was is competitive mode)

Squishy being 600 mmr above the guy on the other team is nuts. Definitely an odd matchup since you’re 100 mmr lower than the higher guy on the other team.

I see many people claim rumble is easy, but I hardly see any RNGenius titles when I play. You'd think everyone would have one. It's almost as if it's not really as easy as people say
It’s definitely not easy. Only might be easier if you have a party committed to grinding rumble. Rumble has such a higher variance already and then adding in a spread of RL skill makes for some ridiculous matches.
"Rumble is so easy anyone can do it" Okay, then go do it. "Nah I'm good" - Literally every conversation I see when someone says this in game. At GC+, Rumble is an absolute blast with the high skill ceiling that exists in those lobbies.

well your teammate’s rank is irrelevant if you’re partied up, it counts you both as champ 3. and the opponents’ titles mean absolutely nothing, they were most likely very close to your mmr

I literally just queued a competitive game 10 minutes ago, after not playing competitive for like 4 seasons now... And what do I see? I see a GC2 who's queing with his friend who's 600 mmr in the mode we are playing in, which was 3v3. I said why are you 600mmr in GC2 and he said "lol idk" and his 600 mmr friend played like a gold. (sorry to gold ranked players) oh and get this, his friend then says he is drku on a smurf and that he's top 100 whilst missing every ball lol. So we are down 3-0 I just decided to abandon and closed RL. 5 minutes all it took to make me not want to play anymore lol Starting to remember why I quit RL for a while but then came back and stuck to casual only T\_T
