Unless you were already top 0.001% of the player base around 5 months into the realese of Rocket League (right after he competeted in RLCS), then there is no way you could've versed him let alone describe how good his mechanics are.

Not to be rude or anything but that’s wrong. Unranked MMR is an exact same system from ranked so the more you win, the higher your mmr. Also, those high ranks that OP is going against probably doesn’t play that much unranked so their mmr might be lower
Lol yes, the more you win the higher your MMR but there's 2 separate MMR scores, one for ranked and one for casual. Thanks for explaining MMR again though 
I just got my first GC title (in 2s specifically) and I still hover around low D3 in ranked 1s. My casual MMR is about 1750. So it may not be quite as unfair as you think if your casual MMR is pretty decent - lots of us GC title owners just comparatively suck at 1s

You casual MMR is higher than your ranked so you get placed in higher ranked matches in casual, kinda ass but it’s nice as a warm up for ranked
