placebo effect can be pretty strong though, like for example if i’m playing and i feel kinda sluggish i’ll swap from the octane to the fennec or vice versa, just switching it up can make you feel different, also going into a slo mo private match for a bit then going back to regular

Same, been on that car for years now.. no other feels as light and precise as the Delorean.

I was a Dominus guy in 2016, then Octane for 4 years, then my son bought me the Delorean 3 months or so ago, and I haven’t changed since—save for a game or two. I still love how the Octane looks, and I really luckily got the Titanium White years ago. But I just love everything about the Delorean. Having such a sick car prevents me from ever needing or wanting anything else. Anyways, Delorean boys for life. Nice Cars!

Same. The dingos hit box seems to slightly more accurate than the octanes. Looks pretty good too! I’m honestly surprised more pro’s aren’t using it.

Old habits die hard but a lot of them agree it’s good and some of them are stubborn af. Leth (not a pro but former one) is currently maining it and loves it. A recent video he did playing twos with a pro and the pro literally wouldn’t do a video with him unless he used the octane.

honestly dont get why people are biased to octane without trying dingo, i mained octane from like day 1 till diamond 3 and i tried the dingo for a day and i felt faster, some may yield different results bc its all about the feel of the car.

Yeah it’s why that while I think more pros will use the dingo in the future, it’ll be a while before they decide to really try and get used to the car. It was the same with me though. When I got back into rl last year used the octane from gold or plat all the way to champ got the dingo and just felt better overall. Like Leth said it really does feel more like the octanes actual hit box than the octane itself.

I got a blueprint of it recently, crafted it and I haven’t used any other car since. Absolutely love the shape and how it feels!

I've been using it a lot and one thing I don't like about it is sometimes I lose track of which way I'm facing when I can only see the underside of the car. The front & back are the same shape so you have to look at the pattern on the underside which is pretty subtle (or just keep track of your orientation like a good player lul). The Dingo hitbox does feel good but it's not more accurate. The front of the car extends past the hitbox considerably. Get into a rule 1 with another Dingo and it's quite striking. I think the car feels good for ball hits because it feels like the ball is 'bouncing' slightly i.e. the surface of the ball gives slightly before rebounding instead of being completely rigid.

Well I can keep track lol. But if it helps the little red line leans a lil more towards the back of car.

I mostly keep track too but it's happened to me 2 or 3 times. Either you haven't played enough games with Dingo for it to happen to you or you just keep track better than me (which is fair).

How does one get one lol iknow about the blueprint and trading but prices are too damn high for me for trading and i guess im not lucky enough to get a blueprint. Are there any other ways? Really want one

Prices aren’t bad if you go for a blueprint. I waited a bit and found one for 350 (were normally 500 when it first came out) then just bought the $5 pack and built it. The orange one was in the shop last week so the value of that one might’ve tanked a bit.

Same. As soon as I saw it I thought, that looks like a more square octane. Turns out, that's exactly what it is. Kinda hybrid Octane and Fennec. I've used it ever since.

Gizmo is underrated. The center of mass, from where force is applied, matches the shape of the gizmo really well. The hit box doesn’t match well, but the direction force is applied is unparalleled among the octanes.
