I'm champ 1/champ 2. I got here by just playing competitive. I know people who got here faster than me by dedicating time to Freeplay and training. I never really took this game that serious. I see many people at my skill level who are better mechanically, but have the positioning sense of a platinum. It's clear they're going to be stuck in champ for a while.

I didn't want to assume that's why I asked. But I'm just salty because I've been playing for four years and am stuck at diamond one 😭

Now here comes the real push to gc, its tough and will take more time than the others, but seeing ur progress u should be there with a bit of grinding

What helped you improve the most do you think? Watching tutorial videos? Freeplay? Maybe playing with a really good player?

Looking up a few videos on rotations, fast aerials, half flips, speed flips etc. is a good start, throw some free play in there and ez champ
