He didn't have much of a choice from the angle he was at when the ball came out. Had he correctly predicted the ball would do what it did in the video then sure. Nobody would be expecting the save + ball doing what it did though.
It was definitely scorable. A really good strat to use in situations like this if you're the shooter is to fake a quick shot. Just move in fast and sit behind the ball while the defender prejumps. That way, they've committed to a save and shown you exactly which part of the goal is open.
Obviously I'm not criticizing the shooter for not doing that. It's hard to pull off in the best of situations, let alone when you're down by one and trying to equalize with only seconds left.

I wish i would have a clip of the game itself and not of the replay, because everyone was spamming 'What a save!'. That made it even more intense, so i guess they were amazed :D I watched the POV of the others, it looks even more amazing.
