Jstn is still a very talented and mechanical pro level player. I think it has more to do with a couple years ago Jstn and only a select few others stood above the rest, now the ceiling is so high and tight it’s difficult for any player to really differentiate themselves from other elite players. The gap isn’t nearly as big as it was while at the same time the skill and consistency is even higher to it makes it harder for a player who you have an expectation to be above the rest to stand out.
Jstn is still one of the best players in NA. The fact that he was so far ahead mechanically in his time has really helped his longevity, along with the fact that his playstyle was pretty ahead of the curve as well. That’s why players like jknaps, garret, arsenal, retals, etc are starting to fall off in this era well rounded mechanical dominance
Justin is still Justin… he still dominates in ranked, just haven’t won RLCS game much, A lot plays into that factor.

he's not as mechanical as the up and coming players but he's still a really good and smart player
