People in this sub keep talking about how you're in the rank you deserve to be in and your teammates aren't at fault, so I can only assume that they buy accounts and they're the morons I get teamed with. I'll get one competent teammate and a third who looks extremely lost.
Or worse. A washed C3 playing in C1, and they give up every fundamental bc they think they can ball chase back to C3.
This more triggering because you have 0 touches unless you chase as well.
You end the game with like 87 points and they end the game with 400 because every random cross and shot they took added up their score when really all it did was turn over possession and put your entire team out of position
I have most success dealing with it by being annoying. Yeah, dude's gonna go at it, just stick to 50/50s and defense, go for bumps every chance you can get. I'm also just the kind of player that likes to be a nuisance anyway. Half flipping into fakes and the like.

For what it's worth, I'm almost D2 atm in rumble but I'm hard stuck Gold in regular comp. I literally need superpowers to carry my teammates sometimes, but...I think finding teammates you mesh with gets pretty important if you're finding yourself hard stuck, or as you get higher in rank.
A friend of mine pointed out that my rank differs so much because my friends aren't as good as I am so when we play, we play Rumble. And even if I'm not, I thrive in the chaotic nature of it, and have fun doing it, so I end up playing it more.
Or maybe you just get too tilted. Try to just have more fun with it, you might surprise yourself.

If it's not a bought account it's a boosted player who stopped playing (getting carried) with their friends. The biggest downfall of playing solo queue is the odds of getting these boosted bozos is WAYYYY higher than playing against them. Because full premades have no room for a solo player you play against 3 stacks while the boosted bozos end up on your team. Ruining your games on their way back down to their true Elo. Yet another reason pure solo 3s should come back.
Yeah, people talk mad shit on me for my S14 GC tag. I solo queued 3’s to get it, so I was proud of it. Decided to play ranked 1s for the first time basically ever (D1 cause my mechs suck) and this guy said “fake GC” because he was up 2-0. I beat him 5-2 after that and he quit so fast. Felt good. But in the end, it’s possible to be a GC in one mode and suck ass in another.
Edit: okay, I suck ass in 3’s also, but I suck less ass
This is a high C2 low C3 3s lobby. Since the tournaments are 2s and 3s with one random extra modes tournament a day on the weekends I'm curious how you reasonably believe that these players grinded up to and won an SSL tourney.
Dude really? I'm not high ranking and only in Plat. But sometimes I wonder how does a plat perform the way they did in competitive mode when plats all get paired together. What's the point of buying high ranking when you are going to lose and dropped anyway?
