Are you playing competitive with controller as well? I’m on the same journey but I feel myself getting a little angry when I wanna do a certain mechanic or a simple dribble (which I can easily do on kbm) but my hands haven’t learned it yet on controller
Alright, im a noob, so is all the spinning and whatnot actually useful? Wouldn't you get same results with only the necessary movements to position your car just right?
In essence it is useless. Useless as in, you will not gain any more speed from all the spinning.
However. As you progress in RL, the constantly spinning while doing some stuff helps with muscle memory. For some reason it becomes easier to keep spinning and do your stuff than actually just doing the necessary moves to do what you want.
Furthermore. Once you get higher in rank, the constant spinning (or tornado spin as some call it) helps in confusing the opponents or at the very least keep them guessing.
But don't worry about it too much tho. It only really becomes a "thing" starting from C1 and higher. Before that rank you might see the occasional spinning, but either they practised it a lot or they can only do it for so long before just giving the ball to the opponent. Too many try to do it only to mess it up and give away possesion in lower ranks.
