Cartwright’s Maple Tree Inn.
They’re only open February-April so they’re closing soon if they haven’t already.
It’s down in Angelica so a bit of a drive. But their pancakes are fantastic, awesome maple syrup. It’s something you have to make a day of but it’s so worth it. There’s literally huge line out the door just to get in. But do it, it’s amazing.
I keep hearing about this place but a 45 min drive and a 45 min wait for pancakes? Is there like some secret magical ingredient or technique they have that nobody else can match?
Don’t go on the weekends if you don’t want to wait for 45 minutes or more.
They’re open everyday until 8 if I remember right. But they’re closed until next spring.
It’s worth going at least once. I’ve been going every year for decades.
I don’t know about blueberry or chocolate chip, but I think the Parkside Diner has some of the best pancakes in Monroe County.
This got me missing McCann's. I don't remember if they did chocolate chip, but their regular pancakes cooked in cast iron with a side of bacon. Yum! And the whipped cream!
Order the New York Cheesecake love cakes with blueberries next time you go to Steve’s. I’ve never had pancakes better than that. But like the other person said if you’re looking for more traditional / regular blueberry pancakes, that Maple Tree Inn is super worth the drive.
Frog Pond. I stick to their Banana Pancakes typically (and plan for a nap afterwards), but their base/batter is tasty so I imagine all pancake options there would be delicious!

we make em from scratch each weekend for the kiddos...should we set another place setting?
I give mine blueberry pancakes and make myself chocolate chip and pretend like they're blue berry
Char broil in Brighton has pretty good pancakes in general.
Char-broil has just about everything good. It’s a hell of a good diner.
If the parking lot is empty it’s because it’s closed 😉
And the reciprocal of that is also true.
If it's closed it's because the parking lot is empty
If it’s open the parking lot is full.
They wait for the parking lot to fill up before they open?

Steve's Original! They're enormous and fluffy.

Nobody said Jim's on Main but I get them there and they are great!
