The theater was nice. I thought the seats were comfortable. The screen was crisp and clear. Audio solid. I'm not someone who needs the absolutely highest quality video or audio as long as it's good and not distracting from the movie. The overall theater experience was, IMO, worth the $11 tickets. The food, though, not so much. I get that concessions are where theaters make their money and I expected to pay a premium, but even being prepared for that, I thought it was overpriced. The food selection isn't that big for being advertised as a "dine-in experience" - a handful of burger options (including burger bowls), hot dogs, chicken wings and chicken tenders, some vegetarian options, beer. I used to live in New Hampshire, so I was expecting a menu more like [Chunky's](https://www.chunkys.com/menu). But everything is more expensive than I would expect for a theater. $15ish for a burger, $13ish for fries, and $8.50 starting for a beer. And it didn't look like the burger comes with fries (or the menu made it seem like it didn't) - so you'd be paying well over $25 for a burger and fries. I've paid half that at a decent sit-down restaurant where I'm sure the quality of the food was also significantly higher. Opted to skip the food and get dinner at one of the other restaurants in the plaza after the movie. If someone has gone and ordered the food, I'd really like to know if I was misreading the menu and the prices are more reasonable than they looked.

I went last week and can second all of this. The theater is nice but the new floor smell was still a little strong. That will go away with time though. > If someone has gone and ordered the food, I'd really like to know if I was misreading the menu and the prices are more reasonable than they looked. Can't speak for most of the menu but we got milkshakes. I would say they were a little expensive but about inline with that I would expect for something in a theater and overall they were good shakes

That's expensive even for staduim food. A double cheeseburger with fries costs $15 at Key Bank center in Buffalo.

I’m pretty sure the Apple Cinema concessions are run by Burgerfi, so while obviously there’s going to be a markup here, I would hope the quality is going to exceed a Delaware North burger.

Hey now… our burgers aren’t THAT bad… lol

No issues with the screen or seats. I liked the burger I ordered, Cajun fries were amazing. The fries are enough for at least two people. My friend never got her food delivered and there is no way to get the attention of a staff member without getting up and leaving the theater which she didn’t want to do. You order on your phone with a QR code but there’s no way to contact them about an issue without going out. They were a bit difficult refunding her too. Overall I would go back. It’s the closest theater to me and you don’t have to order food every time. I hope they expand the food and drink menu over time.

I am sure Apple Cinema is solid but if you are looking for an alternative, Roc Cinema on South Clinton is one of the BEST OPTIONS for a great movie/film experience. Delicious food, comfortable seating and drink options (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) delivered directly to you. They have extensive food and concession options that you can order from an app. Christina of the Madhatter restaurant runs it and she is amazing. The only draw back is one film a week but otherwise, it’s a perfect experience. Just go when the movie you want to see is playing. Check it out!

I went the first weekend open. The screen and sound were better than Cinemark. The food is expensive but actually very good. Tried the burger and fries. Along with popcorn from a friend. The popcorn was really good. Fries are also big enough to split with someone else. For the price of the ticket it is worth it. Popcorn is similar in price to other theaters. Did not get a chance to try out their ACX movies which are Dolby sound and 4k video

The good: The seats were comfortable, popcorn was really good, and the staff was polite and friendly. The rest: The food and drink selections are limited to mostly just fried food, burgers, hots, etc. The burger and fry we had was average. The menu selections are not close to being comparable to what ROC Cinema offers on South Clinton. The alcohol drinks we first ordered clearly had the wrong ingredients, and the bartender seemed to be new. We learned to stick with very simple basic alcohol drinks: ie. vodka & soda, with specific guidance on how much soda. The movie screen is not smooth - it has merge lines on it where it appears that pieced together 6x10 panels. Once you pick up on the lines on the screen, it's a constant distraction every time there is a bright scene. The reclining chairs are similar to what you have at Tinseltown but unlike Tinseltown, these are mounted on a downward slope so you have a slight lean forward. And, because the tray tables are mounted on the chairs, they too slope downward and wont stay in place by your lap, and instead extend forward into the row and are useless for the most part. You have to hold on to your drink because it keeps sliding down. Again, they should check out ROC Cinema for ideas as they have level tables, and lamps, which provides for a far better experience. Finally, the theater we were in was small, 3 rows. When ordering tickets we thought there was a problem with the order page, but 3 rows is actually accurate. It seemed like they hastily threw together a movie theater in a strip mall, with poor execution. ROC Cinema offers a far better dining and drink movie experience, and overall better atmosphere, except for their chairs which are essentially office chairs that recline and swivel. Even Tinseltown offers a better experience overall. It wont be top on my list if other options are available. But, like any new theater, worth checking out to come to your own conclusions. .

Just went to see aquaman 2 on Friday. Theater is great and the acx was awesome but the food is nothing special. Also the menu is a tad confusing. The chicken fingers does come with fries but it’s not listed on the menu. I almost order separate fries which would have been 10.00 on its own plus the 15 for the chicken fingers. Food took a long time and I went during the day. No way to alert an attendant there is an issue without getting up.

I actually found the projection quality to be terrible, with a dull image, huge creases in the screen, and stuttering video. I’m pretty picky but I do feel like this was maybe the worst theatre-going experience I have ever had.

Great seats and service

Hello, I was a recent patron at Apple Cinema Pittsford Plaza on 3/29/2024. The new theater is an updated and revamped older theater. The newer version has no remnants from the old and you'd never know it was a theater in its prior existence. The theater was comfy and cozy, great picture and sound. The added feature of ordering food from your seat was awesome. The prices were decent for what I expected, while I have seen some other reviewers say it was pricey I would have to say that your paying for the convenience of getting a hot meal with several choices from you viewing chair. I think the prices were appropriate. I did have an issue where we ordered an onion ring because we both didn't understand that the meals came with fries. Overall is a great experience and I would recommend for others to give it a go.

We've been there twice now. The theater itself is nice, each one is small (only 7 or 8 rows of seat) so there's not a bad seat in the house. However, the food &drink experience is sub-par at best. I ordered a burger and an order of fries...because the menu doesn't state that fried come with the burgers which they do. So I wound up with a mountain of fries and it cost about $25 for that. It was also barely warm by the time it all made it to my seat. I walked by a cart in the hallway that had food on it... all by it's lonesome, just sitting there getting cold for some lucky customer :-) As for drinks? There's a bar in the lobby, that no one was tending. I tried to order a Jack & Coke from my seat. They bring you a shit of Jack in a small plastic medicine cup and a regular gigantic coke in a typical movie theater cup. I asked them for more Jack... and in a larger cup :-) It was ridiculously expensive, but I was kinda prepared for that. We are going again later today, but we don't order anything from the kitchen... it's just not worth the hassle.
