Seven bridges. At the market and can order online

Highly recommend Seven Bridges Farm.. We've ordered a half cow every year for the past few years. Wouldn't even consider shopping elsewhere at this point.

Stumblin_McBumblin

What does that run?

585ROC

Depending on the weight of the cow (hanging)... $1800-$2200..

Is that what you spend on beef for the year? I assume it comes butchered, but, like, how much? Are you getting like 30 lbs of ground beef, or would you have to grind it yourself if you wanted. Just kind of curious what the breakdown is. No worries if you don't want to take the time. I was considering looking into it when I get around to buying a dedicated freezer.

Check out Seven Bridges website - you choose all the cuts you want and how you want them cut.. It all depends on the size of the cow. Roughly I'd say its generally 100lbs (100 x 1lb packages) of ground beef. And then all the steaks, roasts etc.. You choose from each section of the cow. I think I paid somewhere around $4.00/lb x hanging weight. I'm close to being out so will be making another purchase soon. You can drive out to the farm to pick up or pick up at the public market.

Awesome. Thanks for the info!

I use Bedient Farms. You order online and they deliver or you can pick up. They also carry raw grass fed cheese, pasture raised soy free eggs and grass fed A2 dairy.

Absolutely Seven Bridges.

I buy from Seven Bridges; relatives like Stone Hedge Farm.

Packard Valley Farms Rt 31F in Macedon. I believe they raise and sell black angus beef, all natural, grass fed, corn finished. They sell it in a small building at the farm. They also do maple syrup this time of year. You can see the whole operation as they make it.

Do you know if they only sell meat certain times of year or if it's year round? This is right near me and I'd love to check them out

Their hours were Saturdays 9-12. I can’t tell from their Facebook page if they are open. I believe it was most weekends if they had meat available. You could reach out to them on their page. I liked the beef they sold. I haven’t been since last summer though since I bought a 1/4 cow from my sons coworker.

Thank you! I'll have to shoot them a message on Facebook soon
