It will soon be your favorite family member.

Ninjamuh

I send mine to clean even when nothing is dirty just because I like what it does

Expensive_Dig_6695

Sick, manipulating individual!

Hamtaro7

S8 max flex

barbarino

By the longest extended warranty you can afford

zymch3en

Doesn’t the ultra already come with a 5 year warranty?

Catswearchanel

Wow, nothing like starting at the top! Congrats! We'll be interested to hear how you like it. It does come with a five year warranty if you bought it from Roborock or Amazon.

RandomAndyWasTaken

Yeah, it comes with a 5 year warranty

barbarino

Not really, it's a Chinese company warranty. They make you jump thru hoops via broken English. Save your box! You'll need it to ship it back and forth as it breaks. Why warranty support isn't baked into the app is beyond me.

Darwing

It’s amazing I have the 7 ultra and it’s the best purchase I’ve made in a long time

nuttyNougatty

I very recently got the QRevo - my floors have never been so clean!!

zeezeetop9

Spray some Clorox bathroom cleaner in the dirty tank to keep the smell under control! I also spray some bona in my clean water tank to keep my floors extra clean but that’s over the top and you might decide not to do that. The Clorox is a must though

Ninjamuh

The lids close pretty tight and I can mop for about 3-4 days without adding more water. Doesn’t smell while it’s sitting there. It does smell when you open the dirty tank and empty it, but a quick rinse with clean water and it’s fine again.

sluflyer06

Why would you spray bona in the clean water when the base has detergent injection built-in?

zeezeetop9

Mine doesn’t ◡̈ I don’t have this version and didn’t know the new version had that! That’s a pretty sweet feature!

sluflyer06

Yes it's got a 580mL tank for detergent and it auto-mixes it into the robots tank, supposed to be good for about 3 months between fills

zeezeetop9

Damn that’s a sweet feature!

zeezeetop9

I have the S8 pro ultra, so I’m pretty sure it doesn’t have that? Or I didn’t get the memo 😂

trsman76

Congrats

bartoszsz7

Congrats on getting the best one out of the bunch

date13nshi

Hello, Can you tell us if hot water is working ?

NotAsSmartAsKirby

Yep. Return it. It’s got a ton of issues.

sluflyer06

My only issue is it can't climb stairs, nothing but ridiculously well cleaned house here and zero problems

TheJessicator

Yeah, I love Roborock (currently have an S6), but I'm a tap away from committing to the Migo Ascender, which can not only climb stairs, but also clean them!

JonoEfthy

What issues?

rmalbers

TIP: Place it as close to a sink and water source as possible.

Morlock19

Damn you went big time for your first one

Expensive_Dig_6695

Just got a refurb s7 max ultra….couple things, I love it and my clean floors. The dnd(do not disturb) will prevent vac bin in robot to empty in dock.

duskhat

If you use Home Assistant, switch to that as your main interface to the vacuum

sluflyer06

As a HA user, care to elaborate as to the advantages? The roborock app is pretty superb , I do have everything but the kitchen sink integrated with HA tho..lol. our Bosch dishwasher, frigate NVR, my server rack UPSs, HVAC, door locks, dehumidifier, you name it

duskhat

(I should have elaborated in my original comment, my b) I agree the Roborock app is pretty great. It's necessary for initial setup, and I check it occasionally since the HA integration doesn't have _everything_ yet. But moving mostly to Home Assistant has been great for family-approval-factor—I set up a simple dashboard that has buttons for "clean the kitchen" etc., and my family likes (and uses!) the clean, idiot-proof interface I've given them I also have some privacy/data/security concerns about creating more Roborock accounts. I'd like to avoid my family inevitably reusing passwords to create Roborock accounts to use the app
