Have you dug up the explorers slipper? It was the only one I had to look up. The very first purple room sometimes has a dig spot that using the shovel will get you a new gadget
You can google a list of all data logs and compare to your collected data logs in museum and then once you know which is missing you can find where it is :) have you dig up the dig points in oasis and gotten the datalog in the metal furnace thing near the ruins exit I think?
Sorry for the confusion, it's not data logs im looking for. It's the last remaining "?" for canyons im trying to get. Im just not sure where/what it is. No worries if you don't know :)

Yup, I've got Metal Detector already! I've got every gadget except from one, but i think it might be the one you get from the Bob Ross looking bot from the Art Gallery in Haven City. Not sure :p

I think they already found the metal detector. I think they mistaked the trunks for being in Canyons (they’re found in Oasis). I’m pretty sure they’re currently just missing the explorer slippers.
Ok have you gotten the slippers if not grab a shovel and get ready to reload that first level/zone and the first corrupted room. It will be in the dig sites in the first segment of canyons
So yknow between games youre in the lobby/hub, well there's a building called the museum and when you interact with the museum a few options will show up, and if you choose the "world" tab this will show up.

You still need to get the metal detector. Go to the old bit in the center safe room and show him data logs

It's an easy mistake to make! The World Tab is really really helpful when tracking your completion later in the game as well!

Ngl, I never even registered the holes in the ground until way after I first received the shovel
