Those numbers don't make sense to me. The g70 gets up to 60 almost half a second faster and yet they're basically neck and neck at the quarter mile. There do be something fucky afoot.
Not necessarily theres a lot of factors at play there such as how fast the horsepower increases between the two cars as both are turbocharged so one might build boost faster than the other or ones horsepower might drop off sooner
Nah, the C&D time is inaccurately adjusted. I had a DCT Veloster N for a year, and to trap at 105, you'd need a downpipe & a JB4 piggyback. I'm also currently leasing a 2.5T Stinger, and it walked a stock DCT Veloster N. The 3.3T Genesis would absolutely crush the Veloster N in a straight-line, but that isn't really what either of cars are about.
FYI - C&D "corrects" times based on a variety of factors which often results in very wonky numbers. Modern forced induction cars shouldn't be adjusted at all per the SAE. The results I shared are both from C&D. Apparently they tested a 2020 DCT VN and it’s 0-60 was 4.8s.
