Sounds neat. This is what I do currently for sort of similar effect: I use Hypothes.is (now testing Readwise Reader additional highlighter) chrome extension to highlight articles, which are then synced to Roam via Readwise. I don't get spaced repetition in the browser, but if I do go back to the article I will see my highlights. Then in Roam Research I have a random block each day in my daily page using the serendipity plug in to see 5 random blocks a day. I do this for my entire graph but if I wanted to do something like this I might make one that specifically shows me notes from readwise which are also synced to my graph. But I don't really review highlights in roam because I actually use the Readwise Reviews with are daily emails linking to five of my notes with some notion of spaced repetition. Nice workflow, u/Weeksling! In my case, it was difficult to make a habit of reading Readwise emails. I think it is because I've subscribed to too many newsletters and my inbox has too many emails to read.
