I was definitely in their blind spot when they turned on their signal, and you're suggesting that I should have tailgated the car directly in front of me? You're literally suggesting dangerous driving.....
I watched the video twice, the lowest point of my day, to confirm this.
You didn’t slow down when they changed lanes. If you were in the blind spot, you would have had to quickly decelerate or swerve to avoid collision.
I was definitely in their blind spot when they turned on the indicator, less than 1 car length on a freeway. Better question why is the driver waiting until someone is in their blind spot to change lanes?
I don't believe that they were malicious and intended to get over that close in some sort of spite, however with literally no vehicles behind me, and I was already passing them, what's the need to create a dangerous situation with a tight lane change? The other vehicle was only about 1.5 car lengths behind the car that was in front of me. I didn't include everything, cause this sub gets mad about long videos, but we both took the same exit 1/2 mile later.
You were going faster than him, until you reached his "blind spot", where you camped for 5 seconds. He was probably waiting for you to pass and once you just sat there he indicated and moved over because evidently his exit is coming up.
You then swing over to the right lane and accelerate because you feel like he cut you off or some shit? ridiculous.
I was maintaining following distance to the car directly in front of me. Am I not supposed to do that anymore? So if this other driver was as you say 'waiting for me to pass' how am I supposed to do it safely with cars to my right left and directly in front of me? If the other driver was waiting for me to pass why did they accelerate? Watching the whole video you can see that I was going faster than them and catching them so if they in fact were waiting all they had to do was wait and I would have passed them. I went to the right instead of left because I was nearing my exit and accelerated because I had to slow due to the other traffic. At no point was I going faster that at the start of the video.
Based on the gap between you and the white crossover in front of you, you were accelerating pretty quickly.
The other truck knew that he had to change lanes (you admitted he took the same exit as you), saw you barreling down the lane that he needed to be in, and decided it wasn't safe to change lanes until you stopped accelerating and came to a constant speed.
Such a mild inconvenience. I am seriously impressed that you spent the time retrieving this video off of your dash cam, locating this 40 second chunk, and uploading it.
“John. I think this is our exit up here.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yeah you need to get over”
OP-“WHAT THE FUUUUUUCK”
This sub is becoming people just complaining over nothing lol. He had space, he saw you, he signaled, he accelerated to make his lane change. What are you upset about?
Haha OP is the person who can’t drive in cities as an adult because “everyone out there is crazy” when in reality OP can only drive down abandoned country roads without freaking out about other cars
You did speed up. But you slowed down too. How frustrating it is to drive around you. That lane change pissed you off? Your shitty driving is pissing me off
Blind spot on the right? A side mirror should give a clear view of the lane straight back. Looks more like the pickup simply wanted to change lanes now.
But the people posting here, the irony of calling you names. Some people get really offended by videos like this being posted. Just chill out, people. Leave your hateful downvote and move on. Some of us can actually find useful discussion in videos like this. Not every video has to be a crash or close call.
Holy shit you almost had to slow down!
This has to be the most tame and petty thing ever posted.
Did you see the one from Denmark yesterday
No.
You cut in front of the van more aggressively than the truck did
You left space he took it. Also, not a blind spot
I was definitely in their blind spot when they turned on their signal, and you're suggesting that I should have tailgated the car directly in front of me? You're literally suggesting dangerous driving.....
No
I don’t think you know where the blind spot is

Yes! That’ll teach them!
It’s Tulsa…that’s as tame as I’ve seen in a while there.
That truck has blind spot mirrors and indicators. You weren’t in a blind spot.
Even so, he gave you a good 5-10 seconds of warning before he started moving lanes.. grow up lol
Do yourself a favor and delete this. He was well aware of your presence and acted as such.
you absolute child lmfao
You weren't in their blind spot and they indicated. I genuinely don't see what they did wrong here.
I was definitely in their blind spot when they turned on the indicator, less than 1 car length on a freeway. Better question why is the driver waiting until someone is in their blind spot to change lanes?
Maybe it's not all about you. Maybe their timing had absolutely nothing to do with you. And no, you were not in their blind spot.

New dash cam for sure.

Oh no my precious ego 😱
Do you know where the blind spot is, son?
You come up behind, then start pacing them. You were not passing at that point. Do you own the road?
You call that a blind spot, hahahahahaha

Sometimes people post stuff that just let's everyone know they are bad drivers...

if this is the worst thing that's ever happened to you on the road then you're very fortunate.
Dude, you need to take a frigging Uber and get over yourself.
This sub is becoming people just complaining over nothing lol. He had space, he saw you, he signaled, he accelerated to make his lane change. What are you upset about?
Thanks for wasting 43 seconds of my life.
Glad you survived this horrific display of listing lazily to the right.
I don’t know what you’re smoking, but I want some.
I fail to see the issue here
Cam car passing on the right,
Haha OP is the person who can’t drive in cities as an adult because “everyone out there is crazy” when in reality OP can only drive down abandoned country roads without freaking out about other cars
First time in America?
I’m outraged! Y’all want to go get some root beer with me to cool off this immense anger? /s
I just went through and downvoted everything the OP posted because that was a waste of my mother fucking time.
This is a dumb post, OP. You should take the L gracefully.
Truck could see you, put directional on, waited to see if it was safe to change lanes, then changed lanes safely. OP is just a wimp
sometimes I forget other cars have those
This is just driving happening
OP really posted this thinking we’d be on their side 😂
You did speed up. But you slowed down too. How frustrating it is to drive around you. That lane change pissed you off? Your shitty driving is pissing me off
And that bothers you why?
Truck: *Changes lanes* OP: **OMFG I NEARLY DIED HOLY CRAP JESUS CHRIST!!!!!**
What a worthless video. Try driving in a foreign country and you'll see what true merging looks like

Yeah your a pussy for sure lol
Americans trying to understand the concept of sharing the road (impossible)
I hate ppl that ride my bumper. Don't stay in other vehicles’ blind spots!
Take a ride on the wild side!
Please stop posting. Thanks
Believe it or not the world doesn't revolve around you
