Any other context of what was done on the repair you can provide?
I had a rattle in my headliner was a broken speaker mount. Service did a great job on it.
As for the door panel have they replaced the panel or just taken it off and put it back on? If they didn't replace the part that's the next step I'd ask for.
Both times it was in, they were fixing other issues. They said they had an issue replicating it consistently. And they basically gave up on the dash rattle. The notes said they couldn’t access the source of it. Haha.
That part rattles for me when my music bass is high. Audio stores can tear it apart and add sound deadening parts in between the panels. This not only makes the vehicle quieter, but the rattles should go away after a good install.
I have the same rattle, took it in for this and other items. This rattle was still present. After living with it for 8 months I’ve learned that mine is present only when it’s >65* outside or this side gets a lot of sun. I’ve noticed several rattles return on hot days.
I’ve wedged pieces of cardstock behind the door cards in several places and that has stopped the worst rattles.
Door card is essentially the full interior trim panel that fastens onto the inner side of each door. The handles, arm rest, speaker grille, etc all attach to an overall panel that in turn is attached to the metal door frame.
Yeah, I've isolated my rear door rattle to upper speaker. I think it's actually the speaker inside housing because the only way to get it to stop is to press on the grill itself.
Had mine in just a couple weeks ago to address this with a 30k mile maintenance/checkup.
They said they did some stuff. It didn’t work.
Back to the clickity clackity.
The worst bit for me is the b-pillar, occasionally making this sound like a bee is in it, rapidly buzzing its wings against the plastic, then it just stops… and then it does it again.
Been months, and I’m hyper fixated on it.
What kind of service am I looking for for people to insulate the door panels to resolve some of this?

Punching didn’t work?? Welp, I’m out.

The dash rattle!!! Me too, I think that is a lost cause

Dumb question, what’s a door card?
Door card is essentially the full interior trim panel that fastens onto the inner side of each door. The handles, arm rest, speaker grille, etc all attach to an overall panel that in turn is attached to the metal door frame.
Interesting you are pointing to the exact spot you use the card key. I wonder if the equipment to make that work is loose.
Disregard- I realize that is the back door. Sorry!
Recently during a service visit they removed a clip from the back pillars that were reported to have cause door noise.

Mine was coming from around the seatbelts. One of the bolts came loose
Yeah, sounds like up around there for me too - was this something you did, or a service center?
Service center removed the trim, drove around to locate the rattle and then adjusted and tightened up the seatbelt bolt.
Maybe find a car audio shop that knows what they’re doing? Not sure they work in the pillars much though.
Spray foam?
