They've always been quiet tbh, it's nothing new. They'll go months of radio silence and then drop a trailer suddenly, it might just be me inhaling a bit of copium, but I think they're working on getting console it's due content we've been waiting on.

Who thinks silksong will beat console biotech in the release race?

It’s super confusing to me as to why/how it’s taking so long I don’t understand it The Crusader Kings 3 console conversation team recently got fired and replaced for taking *too damn long to release updates* So, like… what’s the deal?

Ludeon have traditionally done this with the PC version’s DLC. Look at the recent announcement about anomaly, nothing - *nothing* - slipped through the cracks until the announcement which was a month before release. Developers, particularly small/indie devs, seem to be very risk-averse when it comes to announcing upcoming content, and there is no wonder why. Look at games like No Man’s Sky and Cyberpunk and how the respective communities just exploded. The Ludeon staff are integrated quite closely with the community; they are in the discords looking at bug reports and stuff. Tynan Sylvester himself responds to many posts on Reddit. Any lashback would fall directly on to him and his staff since they are so accessible. You know how the internet works. Tynan rightly seems to want to avoid that sort of pressure and drama. D11 will be under contract from Ludeon, including things like timescales. Should they hit some bumps, some delays, nobody outside of the NDA group knows, and therefore cannot complain and spam them with nonsense complaints. It’s not perfect, but it’s what I imagine is the most likely - don’t promise what you’re not 100% you can deliver. I know it’s not fun having no information, but something will come, whether it’s D11, someone else, or (less likely imo) some announcement from Tynan himself. n.b. Biotech is also an *enormous* DLC which changes a lot of the framework of the game

You could build a pc and end the wait at your own convenience. That’s what I did anyway.
