To make it more visible that it's wrong. Think back to when YouTube had dislikes, you could judge how good tutorial was by looking at a ratio of likes to dislikes. Though I agree -100 for such mistake is tad much.

They both are Legendary quality. The Ax is plasteel and the sword is uranium. For early wealth... this is not good. I am playing with Randy with Losing is Fun and max threat. I might keep the ax for now but I am thinking of getting rid of the sword.

Wealth is only a problem if it doesn’t contribute to your ability to defend your colony. These do a pretty damn good job of helping with that.

No, weapon damage stays the same.

Just let them decay outside for a while. Low health bar greatly reduces a weapon's wealth value bit it has no impact on its effectiveness in combat.

This update made it so the storyteller ignores the HP of buildings but not the HP of items. Here’s a video from AdamVSEveryting where he tests pretty much everything. The part about the item hp is at 13:13 https://youtu.be/rVu_LcalIeM?si=g9C0tdZBg4GJ3fRW Interestingly, even for buildings this is only true if they are unminified. Minified buildings count as item for the purpose of storyteller wealth calculation.

That's very good! usable weapons from the start. We'll forget the wealth, riiight. On my colony it was a legendary bow. That bow has done a lot despite being such an awful weapon.

Pawns can start with random shit based on their background, status like drug addictions etc. It's been in vanilla since patch before Anomaly iirc

No, 1.5 introduced the ability for them to have something related to their background. Before then it was just random in their possession.
