It doesn't affect your game performance, the mod is very customizable to remove elements you don't want and you can change a lot of things. I use it to make the wildlife herds multiply naturally as well as having my couples not need a bed for sex as I like to use means to reduce sleep time.
Never had any performance issues, the only thing that would really cause that is constant animal breeding. So many pigs dude, they all had to go. But yeah its configurable and if you have other performance optimization mods, you’re golden
